Amazing stay!
View was the best - ocean front with waves crashing all day. Sunrises are out of this world. We could have not asked for better view and condo. Caretakers were amazing... gave us good advice on things to do. Communications with the owner were also impressive. If you are in Outer Banks - this is the place to stay.

March beach breakaway
Short get away and the southern pearl was a perfect location. The host communicated well with any information. We were pleasantly surprised that we were steps from the beach. Absolutely beautiful sunrises! Very nice and comfortable & clean condo, with everything needed to enjoy. Super close to Jockeys Ridge & First Flight Museum. Close to grocery stores. We would definitely book this rental again. Can’t wait to come back!

Cozy condo overlooking the beach
This is our second year in a row staying her. It is very comfortable and has all the basics for a stay at the beach. The condo is clean and when we had a shower curtain that fell Saturday night, the caretakers came right over on Sunday and made the repair. My wife and I give it 5 stars all the way, and hope to make next year 3 years in a row.

Spotless and a great location
We had a great 5 day winter stay. It was windy as usual for a stay on the ocean. Spacious condo with very nice master bedroom and a small secondary bedroom. One queen bed plus a twin bed. Both bedrooms have full baths adjoining. Amy, the owner was so on it. Giving us recommendations for restaurants and making sure everything was just perfect. We could not have made a better choice!

property manager never returned our call. The ice maker was broke with no ice trays. Condo needed a good cleaning. the couch was very uncomfortable. Condo could use a upgrade.

Great overall property ,beautiful sunrise 🌅 from the deck, nice pools, plenty of sunshine good fishing on the beach. Highly recommend this place. ( Sweet Southern Pearl ). Caught my 5lb Puppy Drum in front of condo, what more can you ask for.

this is a nice place. There is however, a huge difference in the two bedrooms. We nicknamed the master bedroom the taj mahal and the back bedroom the slave quarters! The master bedroom is huge, has a beautiful view, and a huge walk in shower. The back bedroom is tiny and has very poor lighting and no storage.

Fantastic stay!
This was our ideal vacation spot. The condo had everything we needed for a very comfortable week. It was perfectly located, right on the beach and close to everything we needed. We especially loved morning coffee on the patio, listening to waves and watching seabirds. We even saw dolphins. There was more than enough space for two adults and teens. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and we had all the amenities of home. We fell in love with the Outerbanks, its beauty, history and the friendliness of the people Thank you for letting us stay, we hope to be back again one day:)

44th Anniversary Trip
This condo was extremely clean and exactly as shown on VRBO listing. The view of the ocean was fantastic and even though the weather was very windy I thoroughly enjoyed watching the waves from inside. It is very convenient to restaurants and shopping also.

Can’t beat the value!
Perfect location, beautiful view, close to everything. Condo itself is older, in need of some freshening up (pillows need to be replaced, shower curtain, pillow shams, throw pillows worn out ) living room tv not smart so we couldn't stream shows together as a family. Clean for the most part, teens loved it. Huge balcony!

Great Place directly on the Beach
Great 2 bedroom overlooking the beach. The Sweet Southern Pearl had everything we could ask for. We used it as base to visit Nags Head-Kitty Hawk area, Manteo, Bodie Island Light, Alligator River (we saw 2 black bears), and Buxton (Hatteras Lighthouse). It served as the perfect central location. The condo had everything we needed, from dishes, to ice maker, washer dryer. Most importantly, we cracked open the sliding glass door in the bedroom and went to sleep with the crashing of the waves. Great vacation. We have already booked for next year.

Nice condo But had some issues
Overall this is a nice condo BUT there were some issues that we told owners about & only time will tell if they address them. First was the Livingroom TV sound was garbled, then the wifi - the network the instructions tell you to use doesn't exists. The other thing I thought was crazy is for checkout they want to to clean the dishes empty the dishwasher & but the dishes away - Sure you Don't want me to clean the unit also. The only other thing was the check in wasn't secured they left the key in an open drop box.

Good condo but needs a deep cleaning
I waited to write this review hoping the management of this condo would reach out seeking feedback but they haven’t reached out & it’s been a few weeks since our visit. 1st off we did enjoy or stay - the bedding especially smelt clean not just febreeze clean. But upon closer inspection I realized the shower curtain had mold all along the bottom hem.. the interiors washer/dryer closet has pretty French but they also had a bunch of mold in the interior glass panes. Both issues seem easily fixable. Without those 2 issues I would give it a solid 5 stars. Everything looked good & worked and Wi-Fi was strong & bed was comfortable. The building was a quiet and the location was great. I do strongly feel the way you access the condo keys was way too relaxed for my safety-focused brain. I emailed the management/owner on a separate issue and never heard back.

Beautiful and convenient
We were thrilled with the accessibility to the beach from the condo. A few steps and we were able to walk for miles on the sand. The condo was spacious, clean and just what we needed. I would highly recommend. Also, on our trip to the condo, we listened to the owner's podcast about the area which was very helpful!

Beachfront location was amazing! The building is dated and condo was less than clean. There was black mold on the shower curtain in the master bedroom and couch smelled like smoke. We cleaned while we were there and left property better than we found it. The view is amazing, and watching dolphins in the ocean was priceless!

My review.
The stay was awesome, however a couple of things that would have made it fabulous is the coffee pot needs to be replaced, a more simplistic way operating the TV with 3 remotes we had to contact management on operating. Lastly, towels and washcloth had other bodily hairs on them.

The apartment was very clean and attractive. They had all the necessaries including toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, salt and pepper and linens. Rapid response to calls and inquiries. A non stick frying pan would be a nice addition. Instructions for the TV would be nice.

Perfect Beach Location
This property was the perfect location, right on the beach, we were able to sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise, waves and occasionally saw dolphins jumping. The place was clean and comfortable. The only issues we found were the toaster barely worked and the key pad on the microwave was broken which made it hard to set the time and press the start button. The place could also use a couple of better frying pans, everything we tried to cook stuck or burnt, and we are good cooks. Otherwise everything else was perfect! I would stay there again.

All aspects were great. From the beginning with 1001 questions. It was a different group that was supposed to go in 2020 but we all know why that didn't happen. So those of us that could got together . Some haven't seen each other in 20 years so just 2 years ago. It was a wonderful place to gather! The condo was at a perfect location on the beach, the balcony was favorite for all to sit. We saw dolphins every day and fighter planes playing one day. Food choices were outstanding, we didn't have a bad meal. When had question, caretaker was helpful and delightful to chat with about things that were close that we should check out. Go back in heartbeat ❤
