Enjoy making memories with your loved ones at this first floor (technically second, as there is pull-under parking) completely renovated, oceanfront condo with well-maintained, in-building elevator, two-bedrooms, and two baths. Take in the breathtaking oceanfront views, enjoy magnificent sunrises, and watch dolphins playing in the surf all while having your morning coffee on your spacious, 24' x 6' direct oceanfront balcony. The master bath was renovated in 2019 to include a spacious, walk-in shower. An in-suite washer and dryer, well-equipped kitchen, one king size bed, one queen size bed, one twin size bed, two 41'+ flat-screen TVs, one 37' flat-screen tv, cable & WiFi, and beautiful deck furniture round out the features that will make this condo a stylish, inviting and comfortable home away from home. Linens are also provided (bath and bedding) by an independent vendor. Beds will be made when you arrive! The property offers direct beach access, two outdoor pools (closed in off-season), outdoor grills in the common area, and a children’s play space - all available for your enjoyment. The elevator in our building is currently out of service. Our HOA is actively pursuing a full modernization of the elevator system; however, due to the scope of the project and the specialized parts required, we do not anticipate the elevator will be available for guest use until Spring 2026\. We understand this may cause inconvenience and truly appreciate your understanding as we work toward long-term improvements to the property. To help ease the impact, a luggage lift is available to assist with transporting your bags. All guests must be able to navigate multiple flights of stairs. If you choose to proceed with the booking, please understand that no refunds will be given based on the availability of the elevator, it is an amenity of the HOA and is completely out of the owner's personal control. If you have any questions or need assistance during your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help make your visit as comfortable as possible. This unit is located on a second-floor level (the first level is pull-under parking). Sweet Southern Pearl is centrally located to many great local attractions including, the newly renovated Jennette's Pier, the NC Aquarium in Manteo, Jockey's Ridge, Tanger Outlet Shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, off-roading and fishing at Oregon Inlet, fine and casual dining and much more. We have a 30-day cancellation policy - refunds will only be issued if cancellation is submitted in writing to the property manager outside of 30 days from check-in date. The building is unassuming and there are some minor cosmetic maintenance issues but everything is in good working order. The residents of the neighboring apartments are very polite and friendly and the area feels very safe, and everything that one could need is available nearby. The building has excellent acoustic properties and one rarely hears any noise from the neighboring apartments. The apartment has adequate room for a family and we appreciated that linens were provided. The beds and pillows were reasonably comfortable and the apartment was very clean with no sign whatsoever of pests. The furnishings are starting to show signs of wear but the proximity to the water makes up for this minor deficiency. We would have liked more comfortable seating in the living area (sofa looks comfy but is not) and some task or reading lighting in the living room and the very dim back bedroom would have been welcome, but otherwise we were exceedingly happy with our stay.
