With a fully fenced backyard and doggy door for Fido to come and go as you allow, unwind on the spacious covered back porch or take advantage of the gas grill. ## Reviews 9.8 Exceptional ### Entire home 3 bedrooms3 bathroomsSleeps 6 ## Popular amenities - Kitchen - Washer - Dryer - Free WiFi - Air conditioning ## Add dates for prices Check-in Check-out Travellers ## About this property ### Entire place You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party. ### Central Nags Head -Walk to the Beach or Sound - Dog Friendly Fenced In Yard This is a family beach house located in a quiet, wooded, residential, "west side" neighborhood adjacent to Nags Head Woods and the walking trails leading to the sound but is just .4 of a mile to a beach access with a lifeguard (in season) and a crosswalk with a light to cross the road. The backyard is fully fenced in with access from the back porch and even has a doggy door in the dining room for Fido to come and go as you allow. Please note \* VRBO map location is approximate. We are on the west side of 158- not the east side as the map sometimes shows. (We cannot adjust the map. It is set up by VRBO.) The main level of the house has a living room, a dining room with seating for six, full kitchen, and a half bath. The master bedroom, also located on the main living level, features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a double shower head and jetted whirlpool tub. The spacious covered back porch - accessed from the sliding glass doors off of the kitchen and dining room - features a large, comfortable outdoor seating group, a dining table with seating for six, and a gas grill. The upper level of the home has the remaining two bright, spacious bedrooms, both with queen beds, high-definition streaming televisions, and a shared full bathroom. The ground level has outside access leading directly to the outside shower and front yard, a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, and a desk that is perfectly tucked away in a quiet corner for remote Zoom calls or work, should the need arise. Guest access - You can access the entire house except for the garage and the locked ground floor rooms, and the owner's closets. The fireplace is NOT functional or for guest use. The garage is not accessible to guests. Other things to note The minimum age to rent is 25\. ABSOLUTELY no parties or overnight outside guests will be allowed. You will be asked to leave immediately and will not receive a refund of any kind. Adult dogs ONLY - 2 maximum - WITH PET FEE. Dogs must be house-trained, friendly (in case we need to access the house), up to date on flea meds and shots, and well-socialized. Dogs are not to be left alone unattended in the house uncrated for extended periods of time. You must let us know in advance if you plan to bring your dog. Be sure to pick up after your dog in all areas and keep your dog off the furniture. If you have a "shedding" type breed, clean-up also means hair within reason. Please note that this is a vacation rentals and not a hotel. (We mean that in the absolute nicest way!) You will need to roll trash carts out for trash pickup, do your dishes, etc., and basically leave the house reasonably as you found it. If you use the grill, please clean it before departure for the next guests. Our cleaners do not clean grills. The amenity is provided with the understanding that you may have to clean it before use and that you understand we ask that you clean it before departure. We apologize in advance if the guest before you was not so courteous. If you use the last of the propane in one of the tanks, please let us know or replace it. If you break something, please replace it or let us know ahead of time so that we can be proactive for the next guests. We know accidents happen! We provide one set of bath towels per expected guest. We do not provide beach towels. We provide the first roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. Additional needs are the guests' responsibility. We are your neighbors and live just a couple of miles away. Front and back porch were used every day, weather was outstanding and the beach a short walk from the house. We met up with old friends for this trip and the house was a perfect place for us to relax and catch up with each other. I stayed here with 5 friends for a long weekend and we really enjoyed it. The location of the house was so convenient. We could walk to the beach, plus walked to a couple of different spots for coffee/breakfast. The house was easy to get to from the main road, and we loved the back porch for dinner and hanging out! The Ninja coffeemaker and the super comfortable mattress in the primary bedroom were much enjoyed! It was our first trip with our pups and having the fenced in backyard was so helpful. Everything from check-in to day-to-day activities to checking out went smoothly. The home is well stocked with anything you’d need to live comfortably, and the fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs. We were a quick drive or short walk from the beach and also a short drive to the sound. Close proximity to restaurants, bars, and other activities. Hosts are responsive and attentive. We loved the comfort of this home-like cottage and its furnishings. The beds were the most comfortable we've had in our over 30 years of Outerbanks cottage rentals. We loved the spacious covered back porch as well as the fenced in backyard that was perfect for our dog. The location was super quiet yet located in easy access to everything we wanted. We were grateful to have the convenience of the stoplight that allowed us to easily cruise across the main highway and down Barnes street to pop one block over to Bonnett street where the rest of our family had rented cottages. We used the Bonnett street beach access that has an excellent bathroom house and a lifeguard stand as well. We enjoyed the nearby Morning View Coffee House and also the very close proximity to our favorite restaurant Tortuguas' Lie. This home, in a residential neighborhood, was a great choice. It was located between Jockey Ridge and The Wright Brothers Park. It was a short drive to a beach access (2 minutes). Within the neighborhood is a park with a nature trial leading down to the sound. A Food Lion is 2 blocks away. Easy access to restaurants too! One day we drove 1 hour down to Frisco Beach for a day at Cape Hatteras Seashore (we were delighted to find a beach wagon behind the outside staircase!). The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need - better than anywhere I've stayed before. Warning - this has a drip, not a KCup coffee maker, so bring the good stuff!! The beds were very comfy with soft, crisp sheets. Towels were big and fluffy, and the showers ran well and were nice and hot. Afte a day of exploring, we laid back and relaxed on the big, soft, lounge chairs in the living room and watched TV on the big screen. The porch was a great place for morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening with a big table, sitting area, and a southern porch swing. Our dog played safely in the enclosed back yard and even made friends with the neighbor dogs. The host kept in contact, but we had no issues. We had a great adventure!! ##### Charlene S. The home was lovely and clean. It was in a quiet residential neighborhood and I wished we could have stayed 2 weeks instead of one. The owners were so welcoming and accommodating to both my family and I. I really appreciated the little attention to details like the make-up mirrors in the master bath and hair dryer up stairs for the kids. They provided bath towels as well as wash cloths for our family. I guess I didn’t read the description that well but there is a spa tub in the master bath YES!!!! We liked that guest rooms were upstairs and the master was on the main level. We loved the location and there were many businesses within walking distance. We really enjoyed walking to the nature preserve right up the street. They had plenty of pots, pans, and utensils you may borrow if you couldn’t make it out for dinner. We loved the house so much we actually enjoyed staying in and cooking a couple nights with the family. I especially enjoyed having my coffee out on the back porch in the morning my goodness. Our whole family consisted of my husband, myself, 3 teenagers and a dog. I should point out that there is a doggy door off the kitchen area However our puff ball was scared to use it! There are just so many reasons we loved our stay here I just highlighted some of them. The owners are wonderful hosts!
