This elegant 6 bedroom, 6.5 bath Outer Banks rental with an elevator is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac within the Village of Nags Head community. Spend the day at the nearby beach or sound with the kids and the pup -- yep, it's dog-friendly! Or you can opt to play tennis, golf, or enjoy the community pool and beach club overlooking the ocean. Enjoy a quiet retreat with all the amenities of Nags Head within walking distance including shopping, restaurants, and fun family activities. Private sound and beach parking are provided. Two levels of decks overlook the Roanoke Sound for those breathtaking OBX sunsets. Afterward, you can retreat to the large ground floor game room equipped with a 7' pool table, foosball, TVs, stereo, and wet bar. The top floor consists of a large living area with vaulted ceilings, a gourmet kitchen with dining area, fireplace, and cozy Widow's Watch. The elevator allows guests, suitcases, and groceries to travel up and down the levels with ease. The ground level holds the extra-large rec room, equipped with a kitchenette and ready for you and your loved ones to have hours of competitive fun! You'll also find a laundry room for convenient mid-stay washes. The bedroom on this floor holds a double bunk bed set so your little ones can dream and wake together. The bathroom has two accesses: one from the bedroom and another from the rec room, for convenience when playing your cares away! The mid-level of Designed To Please holds most of the other bedrooms and baths. Each of the 2 queen bedrooms has a private bath, and one has private deck access to the covered porch, where you'll enjoy the breeze from the sound while being able to take a break from the sun. The master king also has a private bath and private deck access. The last bedroom on the mid-level is another perfect option for the kiddos! It comes with a pyramid bunk bed and a trundle on the bottom. The kids even have their own private bath! Take the elevator or stairs up to the top level and marvel at the vaulted ceilings and spectacular common areas. The gourmet kitchen boasts beautiful light wooden cabinets and has everything you'll need for preparing savory seafood meals. Everything was clean and ready for us to start having fun! My husband had just had knee replacement surgery so the elevator was a must! We had a deep sea charter fishing trip scheduled that was cancelled by the Captain due to unsafe weather conditions from a Noreastern hitting OBX and a Hurricane in the tropics. We requested to modify our reservation to a different non peak weekend (many of which are open and available to book on the property VRBO calendar) and the owner was completely inflexible and not accommodating. We did not ask the owner to refund our trip, simply allow us to move to another available weekend to align with better off-season fishing conditions. The 3rd party management company Seaside Vacations was helpful in contacting the owner and also told us that during the offseason there are several properties that can be booked immediately before our trip. We ended up not staying at this property and caution anyone who is looking to book this property in the off-season and worried about potential weather issues. ##### Matt O. Overall, the cottage was nice. The last night there the elevator ceased to work and we there was a strong propane gas smell from the second floor. We did replace the can opener also. ##### Maureen T. The elevator really was a lifesaver for the older group and the pool table was a benefit for all ages! Better views than I thought we would have, and it was a perfect location for us. ##### Deidre M.
