Featuring ocean views from the top deck, a private pool, bubbly hot tub, game room with a pool table and foosball, theater room, and more - you'll never want to leave this home! But when it's time to hit the beach for a little sun, sand and relaxation, the nearest beach access is less than 500 feet away (a 4-minute walk)! The ground level of this home has plenty of parking in the driveway for your family group. Out back is where the fun begins! Grab a cold beverage and hang out at the tiki bar. Your family will love splashing around in the large fenced-in private pool or relaxing in the bubbly hot tub. After a long day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower. The fun doesn't stop once you step inside. In fact - it's just getting started as you enter the game room! Get a little family-friendly competition going when you shoot some pool at the pool table or test your skill level at foosball. A convenient wet bar and full-sized fridge are nearby - perfect for storing cold beverages. When you're ready to watch a movie, pop some popcorn in the downstairs microwave and step into the theater room, featuring a 100-inch projection screen and stadium seating with cup holders! The mid-level of this home is where you will find four out of the five bedrooms this rental offers, all with their own private bath and TV! Choose between two king bedrooms, a queen bedroom, or a pyramid bunk bedroom with a trundle. Need to do a mid-week wash? No problem! The washer and dryer are also located on this floor. The top-level is where the family can gather together and make lasting memories. The spacious living area has plenty of comfortable seating centered around a flat-screen TV. Whip up dinner in the large, well-appointed kitchen. The dining area has seating for 8, but if you need more space, the kitchen island can accommodate 5 more. Step onto the deck through the sliding door off of the dining area and soak in the salty breeze while you enjoy views of the Atlantic ocean. When it's time to retire for the night, rest easy in the final bedroom this home offers - a king master bedroom with a TV and its own private bathroom. Beach Access: Hollowell St. Public Beach Access; 0.2 miles/4-minute walk. This beach access offers parking, a lifeguard on duty (Memorial Day-LaborDay), a wooden walkway, and showers for rinsing off the sand before you head back to your rental. The cleanliness could have been better. The walls had markings and the vents were disgusting. The bathroom toilet wasn’t functioning and the locks didn’t work. However, several things added up to somewhat of a disappointing final assessment. The outdoor furniture was filthy and not appealing to sit at, much less eat off of. It was not just a matter of wiping it off. It needed to be power washed. One of the pool lounges was broken, the top for the hot tub was falling apart, and the mechanism to help open it was broken. It was stated that there were 2 gas grills available, but there was only 1, and it had no propane in it. We had to go exchange the tank before beginning to cook our meal. Of the 8-10 pool sticks that were there, only 2 had tips on them. The carafe for the coffee maker had a hole in it, and coffee went everywhere, so that was unusable. Several lightbulbs were burned out. The tvs were a nightmare. Some equipment wasn’t even hooked up, no instructions anywhere about anything for the tvs. I don’t think it even has basic cable, but who knows. None of these things are deal breakers, but adding them all together left some disappointment in our experience. All of these things are things that seem easily remedied and maybe worth a little more effort, for a much more satisfying experience. Our two grandchildren and the four adults all enjoyed our time at the property. The very close proximity to the beach was amazing. Location is perfect with 5 min walks to the beach or across the street to Jockey Ridge State Park. The weather wasn’t great this week which isn’t surprising for spring, but this house has such a great set-up with foosball and billiard tables, theater room and hot tub, we found plenty to do to entertain ourselves including the teenagers! The house was very clean, really comfortable and nicely decorated. Even the kids kept saying “you found a good one this time grandma!” :) ##### SHELLY M. This property fit our family of eight adults and four young children perfectly! The weather was cool and rainy the first day, but that did not dampen our fun. The house had - media room with a 100+movies, a foosball and pool table. Four bedrooms/baths on the second level were perfectly arranged. And a fifth bedroom/bath on the third level worked great for aging parents to be on the main living level. Would have been very nice to have had an elevator for them. The stairs were a bit for them to navigate. I have some suggestions but nothing negative to say about this place. We had a great time!!! ##### Lori C.
