Great experience
It was a great experience. The hotel is spacious enough, and it provides toiletries, tea etc generously. The hotel is well kept and comfortable to stay.

Fresa Inn Nagano Station
Nagano is a nice place to stay and tour. Hotel is conveniently located adjacent the station and is safe, clean, and affordable

Convenient lication
Best choice for convenient access to the Nagano Station. Clean room that was small but perfect for an overnight stay. Super easy automated check in and out.

Clean, convenient, few mins walk from station
Clean, comfortable and convenient hotel a few minutes' walk over a footbridge from the station. Staff were friendly, breakfast was a buffet with a small selection of Japanese / western items and coffee, juice, yogurt. Quiet and comfortable night sleep. Free toiletries including cosmetic facial masks and bath powders along with various fruit teas in the lobby.

Close to station,Value for money,spacious rooms
This place is good for stay in terms of close ness to Railway station(just across JR East gate of Nagano station.),staff friendliness and their Service,cleanliness,relatively spacious rooms ,outside view through windows(if you are lucky you wld get mountain view) ,with all required amenities sand above all value for money...more discount if you get to book during discounted times/seasons.

Overpriced for the quality.
The check in was impersonal and via computer that was not disinfected after each use. The room smelt musty. The bathroom was old and the shower inadequate. The towels were thin. The hotel looked tired and shabby.

Lovely hotel, easy to access from Nagano station. Now called Fressa inn, luckily it said this on the door as we had no notification of the name change. Good friendly staff

conveniently located hotel
The hotel is convenient, just a few minutes walk from Nagano station. Room was nice and clean, amenity (shampoo, body soap etc) is of good quality (DHC). The hotel staff were polite, friendly and helpful, allowing us to store our luggages before check-in time so that we could go sightseeing without hassle. There is a convenience store which is located two doors away.

Small, clean and tidy
The room is small but sufficient for our family. There's lots of paid parking nearby. We have 4 pax (3 adults and 1 child) but the hotel seems to only think of us as 3 pax and always only gave us 3 towels. However they are always in a quick to give us extras when we asked for it. Service is excellence in that sense.

I was at the hotel for my transit to Tateyama. Mediocre hotel, a bit dated. Only good is it is located near the JR station and bus station to Ogizawa, start of the alpine route.

Good simple hotel
This is a typical "business" hotel in Japan. Very simple without any frills, but quite functonal and comfortable. Room was a bit small, but clean. The area is on less busy side of the central station of Nagano. It may well be bit inconvenitnt to reach various restaurants and shops. However, a good convenience store, 711, is just near by the hotel.

Easy access to Nagano Station
- Spacious double room with queen bed - Easy access to Nagano JR Station and express bus station to Ogizawa - Good variety of choices for breakfasts - Air conditioning is too weak; we open the windows to cool down and get fresh air - The front desk said it is ok to keep our luggage overnight but they cannot do it when we checked out. We then went to the station to store luggage at lockers.

Convenient near Nagano Station.
The hotel is adjacent to Nagano station and an easy walk with luggage using the east exit, over street walkway to stairs or elevator then left 100m to the hotel. The exterior of the hotel is only marked in Japanese so be sure to memorize the hotel logo which is visible on the building from the station. The room was fine though the bathroom had a musty smell. Breakfast was also good, not great with basic western and Japanese food. Great place to stay for a couple nights if you plan to see the Snow Monkeys.

Very close to the Nagano train station on the east side. Elevator down from elevated walkway to the hotel in 5 min. 7-11 convenience store next door. Rooms are slightly larger than average room for Japan. Breakfast was ok. Fair selection of Japanese and western items.

When I checked in, the staff told me check out time is 12.00pm, To avoid misunderstood I checked and confirmed few times with the staff but she said is twelve o’clock . But when the day I checked out the staff asked me pay extra hours charge as the check out time suppose to be on 10am!! Although after argued and explained to the staff in the end I no need to pay the extra charge fee. But the 2 lady staff were very bad attitude !! Aircond only came out hot air , I had to open the window to let the cold wind came in the room. The only good is this hotel just 5 min walk from Nagano station.

The hotel was very centrally located. Within walking distance to the J R Station, bus terminal and shopping. We did have a problem finding it as there was no English to identify the hotel.

Hotel near the train station in Nagano
The hotel is old but clean. The location is right at the back of the jr station, don’t get it wrong, it is a nice hotel for the price we pay. There is another Sunroute hotel, much newer nicer and cleaner right across the front side of the jr station, but it is more than double the price.
