This is a decent option, but lower your expectations. It’s a 2 star hotel at best. It’s old, run down, and dated but the staff are cheerful and the views are nice, which made it made a fine place to stay. They made sure to notify us of all their available amenities and we were lucky to join one of their star gazing events the night we had stayed their that was led by cafe owners nearby. The meals they serve were wonderfully presented as they shared details of what was provided and the rooms were spacious. The location was near the station and walking distance from the beach. So if you are booking this hotel and want to eat at the restaurant, make sure you do so in advance. We had gorgeous views and the biggest suite I have ever been in. You can spend your entire visit in their robes in the hotel or you can see the nearby Nachi Waterfall. The traditional Japanese included meals were a lot of fun and also had views of the water. We didn’t check out the shared hot springs, but I bet those were nice too as so many people seem to come for them. I would recommend this to anyone! I celebrated my birthday here and splurged!
