The room had a hole in the ceiling where rain was coming through making the carpet all wet. There was a ton of hair in the shower that didn’t belong to us, and the room had ants crawling around

It is a very basic hotel. Not pretty outside at all, but the room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and kind. Pool was good, kids loved it. Get an odd numbered room for parking lot side entry. The diner next door was an awesome bonus.

Even for a more budget friendly hotel this hotel really wasn’t good. We wouldn’t return. We booked two rooms. One room had dirty sheets and candy multiple articles of trash on the floor. House keeping only comes once every 4 days and since we were there for 2 none of our cleanliness concerns were addressed. We asked the front desk for towels and clean sheets and we were told we had to go get them ourselves. Upon entering the entrance closest to our room there was a homeless man hiding in the stairwell. The front desk told us he was waiting for a ride, he had booked a room the night before. I feel so much compassion for the man but it scared our young children. The pool, while the pool room was super warm, was ice cold. HoJo used to be a very respected brand of hotel, I can’t see us trying another one any time soon.

So nice and cozy, staff were so nice. Our room was great and great price for the room. Will definitely be coming back. Only 15 mins from Foxwoods great place to stay if you’re looking for a good deal away from the casino.

While I did not mind the lobby not being open from midnight to 8 am- However, at 8:20 am I discovered the front door was closed with a cable wire wrapped around the door handles not allowing for exit-This is a serious safety concern.

Convenient, mostly clean, comfortable beds. Entry A smelled like cat litter. Fresh dye and microwave was nice. Room seemed like it was attempted to be updated but paint was bad, rims of light fixture peeling, old curtain, bathroom ran turns in with light so no way to not have fan going, room phone old and with handwritten room number on it. Staff was super friendly. Website says there is an electric car charger on site but it’s a Tesla only charger.

My room was nice. It was clean and actually rather spacious. The bed was clean and cozy. The heating unit was relatively quiet and efficient, the TV had movie channels and there was ample hot water for a shower. The front desk staff stood out since they were not just business courteous but genuinely friendly, answering questions and they were able to give me directions to places. A good experience for me.

I called the day before to see if they had a pack and play for my child they don’t which is fine but the woman was rude on the phone when I asked . The next day at check in front desk wasn’t much better didn’t seem welcoming at all and one reason we booked this hotel beside the good deal was because they had a pool because my child loves pools but… no signs or anything saying the pool is closed we asked and had they said in was under reconstruction and didn’t see like it was at all with pool water still in pool ect…

The location of this hotel is great there is lots to do around it. However it is short staffed so between midnight and 8 am there is not staff. The pool was down for renovations which was not made known prior to booking. The walls in the room were dirty and Jacuzzi tub was broke.

When we arrived the lady at the desk was very nice. The room itself was 58° when we arrived. Absolutely freezing. It took hours for the room itself to get warm. Barely hot water for a shower. Dirty comforter on the bed. The light in the bathroom waa flickering. The ceiling fan in the bathroom was extremely loud. When we went to check out their was nobody at the front desk. The door was actually locked with a cable so we weren't able to leave. We had to walk around the building and leave through another exit. GOD FOR BID THEIR WAS A FIRE WE WOULD HAVE BEEN SCREWED AND WOULDNT BE ABLE TO GET OUT. We left the keys to the room at the front desk hoping someone would see them and check us out when they returned. We will not be returning or staying here again. I would demand a refund but its not worth the aggravation.

Hotel was dirty, the heat didn’t work. The lobby was so cold the front desk workers had to wear hats, gloves and winter coats… awful working conditions for the employees. There was no one there when we checked out at 9am. The shower drain didn’t work, and the entire property smelled like smoke

There was no heat in the hallways and the heat was not on in the room when we arrived. It took several hours for the room to warm up. Not a pleasant stay. We've been staying here for years. Seems to be going down hill.

Rooms are clean but the hallways and other areas (except front lobby) could really use some TLC. But it is a low budget hotel. Beds could use better blankets. One bed only had a sheet and duvet cover and the other bed had the sheet and a blanket. The lady at the front desk was not mean but definitely not friendly.

The room needs to be properly maintained as per the rate per night. The bathroom was filthy and missing parts to hang the towel and mirror box was broken. There was no hair dryer. The shower head was so dirty and moldy. There was mold in the bathroom. It made me sick.
