Charming Historic House in Downtown Mystic

Wonderful 1770 built cape with views of the Mystic River. Five minutes walk to Historic Mystic Seaport, five minutes walk to the numerous restaurants, bars and shops on Main Street. Five minutes drive to Mystic Aquarium and Olde Mystick Village. Just ten minutes drive to the nearest beaches and twenty to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos. There will be accommodation for 8; two in ground floor king master, 2 in upstairs queen bedroom, 3 in upstairs bedroom with full-sized bed and twin, and also a very comfortable pull out sofa in the open-plan living area. Please note, the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are quite steep. Please notify owner of intent to bring a pet-there will be an automatic $500 charge taken from the deposit for unapproved pets.

Appliances were dirty..they needed to be wiped down..The sidewalks could have been shoveled & cleared better. Overall our stay was comfortable. The cottage is cozy, plenty of heat since it was pretty cold. Close to everything.

We had a wonderful stay in Mystic. Our hosts were responsive to email, as well as accommodating when it because clear we’d need to leave early to avoid a blizzard. The house is, indeed, charming and very clean, with everything one would need for an extended stay. We appreciated the extra touches, like plenty of caffeinated and decaf coffee, Perrier, nuts, and cookies. The house is well-located, just a short walk from downtown shops and restaurants and sites in that area. Easy parking for three vehicles. We highly recommend this little historic house and only wish we could have been there in better weather to enjoy the back yard and fire pit.

The house was perfect for our college girlfriend’s weekend! It was very clean, kitchen was well stocked for cooking/eating in, beds were comfortable and location was perfect! A quick walk to downtown. I would highly recommend staying here and we are looking forward to our next visit!

Our stay in Mystic was absolutely wonderful! The house was quaint, charming, and spotless - clearly very well cared for. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing girls trip. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to downtown Mystic with its great shops, restaurants, and waterfront. We have been visiting Mystic for 20 years almost yearly. We have stayed at many different places. This house is very cute, it’s small but has personality and is in a good location. I would say a family of four fits nicely, anything more would be a bit much. It was clean. It’s in a convenient location and we were able to walk to all our favorite coffee shops, restaurants, and ice cream shops. The house has pretty much everything you need and the hosts were very easy to get in touch with and had labels and books to help guide you through any little obstacle an older house like this may have. Thank you for letting us stay at your home. We will definitely add this to the list of locations we like to stay in the Mystic area.

Totally charming house!

Wonderful stay at a great house

We loved staying here. Hosts were wonderful. Easy to communicate with. House was very clean and taken care of. Yard was very nice. Had air conditioning. 3 parking spots. Within walking distance of downtown mystic, the drawbridge, CVS and more. Totally recommend.
