The rooms are a bit old fashioned with bathroom fittings needing repair and not clean.. Hair strands at the drain corners while we entered for the first time
Age of the property is showing up.. Rooms wasnt well prepared... only 2 towels, no hand towels, leaky water faucet made the whole bathroom wet.. no floor towels, broken clothes hanger behind toilet door. King bed was bent in the middle due to age.. Ive been a windflower patron for over 15 years, Overall not worth the money anymore unless they do a major overhaul.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Rooms in poor condition. See pics. Wooden Floor coming apart. Almiras creeking. Drawers not closing. Drapes from several decades back. Upholstery dirty. Pillows so thick and big almost the height of center table. Bed mattress such that if one partner moves, other is completely disturbed.
Net, net, they claim being under renovation. Which is good… till then, if you chose to pay what we ended up paying for a night, its purely for location which is very close to Mysuru Palace. Greenery in the around the property reminded of a boutique resort, which is a plus.
Service of staff very good.
The courtyard rooms we had booked were not really part of the resort(I think the pictures are misleading) ,it was far off from the main resort due to which we could not use any facilities and there was no service at all.(the resort did not have any buggy service so it was very inconvenient to go to the main area with kids).
Rooms were not very clean ,the utilities within the room was not in good condition ,fittings were old and dirty ,rooms we were provided was unfit to stay with kids/seniors ,really surprised with the lack of attention given to the rooms by windflower.Maintainence was very poor, there were dead insects in the bath room, looks like they don’t pay any attention to these rooms .(it felt like we were staying in a lodge and not a resort ).
Extremely disappointed with the stay ,please don’t market this room as part of windflower resort ,IT IS NOT PART OF THE RESORT AND IS INACCESSIBLE TO ALL SERVICE AND FACILITIES.
The staff is very friendly and attentive. The on-site restaurant is good and the breakfast spread is amazing. But the property needs upgrades; it seems old and it shows. The lock and key system needs an upgrade. Our key kept getting demagnetized or stuck in the slot and since we had to climb several steps to the door it was very frustrating as we made several trips to the front office. Also the common paid TV channels were all disconnected; the staff had to reconnect which took a few hours.. We wanted to watch the England-India match and even Star Sports was unavailable. But the staff eventually took care of it; so I don’t fault them a bit. They were really courteous and apologetic. Also I must complement them on very prompt room service..
We booked two rooms , one studio and the the vila which was 4 times the normal room. The service was pathetic , bell doesn't work , asked for towels to be changed in the evening and it wasn't done. Took them hours to acknowledge and when the towels were sent it was so bad quality. Overall +£200 for a room ,I'll walk away from this dated resort!!.,Over the years the quality has come down and we'll avoid this next time..

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Room comfort
Well laid out but trips up on basics
The hotel is well laid out, green. The rooms are large and quite comfortable.
Small queen size bed
White box rooms, not at all 4 star. Very below average furnished
Bathroom Fitting’s old , badly stained and not maintained. Appears like a public toilet.
Room service for water took more than 30 mins - multiple follow ups.
Kids play area - all broken stuff, hardly playable.
Only good thing is the restaurant- really nice with good staff.
It was an awesome stay at Windflower resort at Mysore, beautiful location for photography, nice private pool/swimming pool, yummy food, very prompt service...what else to say !! Overall, we liked the resort and the stay.
Would love to visit again with parents and in-laws.
We were there for just 1 day but the whole experience was amazing. Situated right at the foothills of chamundi hills, this place offers a peaceful environment for you to relax and revive. The skies being so clear, it's a perfect place to sit out in the balcony of your room and stargaze. The rooms were clean and beautiful. They were spacious as well. Since there are only 39 rooms here, the place is not crowded and it feels pleasantly silent. The ducks in the pond are beautiful. The food is also good though there could have been more options for the breakfast. We didn't use the spa facilities but they claim it to be one of the best in India.
All in all it was an experience worth having. Go there if you want to chill and relax for a day or two.

Close to the city, but small
The resort is good but compact, its quite near to the zoo, karanja lake and chamundi hills. Good things are swans, parakeet, a lagoon in the center, nice breakfast spread, good spa and secluded pool. Downside are mediocre service, blunt staff, water getting pooled in the bathroom, empty minibar, no bathtub, improper housekeeping around the common areas (a honey bee stung my 3 year old kid) and no kids pool.
