WHAT MAKES THIS BUILDING SO UNIQUE IS THAT IT SITS RIGHT ON THE OCEAN(CLOSET HOTEL ON THE OCEAN) AND ITS A PINK HALF CIRCLE MAKING THE VIEWS THE BEST IN AREA. THE INTERIOR OF THE BUILDING IS ENCLOSED WHICH MAKES IT SUPER RARE FOR THE AREA AND UNITS ARE EQUIPPED WITH CENTRAL HEAT AND AIR WHICH FLOOR TO CEILING GLASS WINDOWS ALL THE WAY AROUND. THERE ARE LESS THAN 70 UNITS IN THE WHOLE BUILDING WHICH MAKES IT IDEAL FOR SOMEONE WHO ISNT BIG ON CROWDS BUT CAN SLIP NEXT DOOR TO CARAVELLE WHEN WANTING TO USE ALL OF THE BIG RESORT AMENITIES. THIS UNIT IS DIRECT OCEANFRONT WITH VIEWS ALL THE WAY DOWN TO NORTH CAROLINA. THIS UNIT WAS FULLY RENOVATED WITH TOP OF THE LINE FINISHES, LIKE FULLY WOOD TILE, HIGH END GRANTE WITH BAR, HIGH END APPLIANCES, SLEEPER SOFA, LEATHER RECLINER, FLAT SCREENS, TOP OF THE LINE CABINETS AND FURNITURE, 36" VANITY BATHROOM GRANITE TOP, WITH MATCHING CABINETS, WALK IN TILE SHOWER,BACKSPLASH, LED LIGHTS, AND MORE. THE LIVING ROOM FRONT BED ROOM HAS A SUPER LARGE KING AND A SLEEPER SOFA, THE BACK BEDROOM HAS A FULL BED WHICH CAN BE CLOSED OFF WITH DOOR. THE BALCONY IS ALSO EQUIPPED WITH LIGHTS AND STEP LIGHTS CREATING THE PERFECT AMBIANCE ST CLEMENTS IS A WORLD FAMOUS RESORT WHICH HAS A GREAT WORLD FAMOUS OCEANFRONT BAR THAT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC (BEST BEACH BAR IS MYRTLE BEACH) ALONG WITH A WONDERFUL OCEANFRONT POOL. ST CLEMENTS IS ALSO PART OF CARAVELLE WHICH HAS ALL THE AMENITIES SUCH AS LAZY RIVERS INDOOR/ OUTDOOR POOLS, HOT TUBS ETC THAT IS JUST NEXT DOOR. THERE IS ALSO A LAUNDRY ROOM AND ICE/VENDING BY THE LOBBY ENTRANCE WAYS TO SAVE WITH ME 1)I DO NOT charge credit card fees like most on here – The Payment system charges us 3% every booking. Most owners direct that back to guest but I eat that myself 2) I DO NOT charge any silly administration or booking fees like most on here – Sneaky way of owners charging guest more money… I do not operate like that. 3)I DO NOT charge any silly damage waiver fees like most on here – Once again a sneaky way for owners to get more money…I don’t do that. 4) I have had the same linen/cleaning fee since the beginning of time for my guest…a SIMPLE 99 dollars. My actual cost for this service has rose over the past few years due to the demand and economy rising but yet I kept the same price for my guests as it cost me much more. On top of that I offer more towels then most rentals so once again I eat that difference in cost. 5) I have the minimum set up for refundable damage deposit at only $100 dollars which is refunded within 7 days of checkout. I have seen a lot of owners have it from $300-$500 and even more. Who wants to fork out that much money just to be held until check out, not me and of course I wouldn’t ask you to do that either. Long story is short is no one wants to go to book a unit and see like 10 different random charges so I try to keep it simple as can be. (VRBO charges service fee which I have no control over) Rental Rules and Regulations 1) Must be at least 21 years of age to book. 2)Check in 4pm 3) Check out 10am 4).Parking Passes are included. . Approx 8 towel sets.. Linens for all beds(beds are fully made also), \\. As we all know , vrbo rentals(private owners/vacation rental companies) do not offer daily housekeeping and linens exchange but i do pay more to get my guest 10-12 towels sets instead of most rentals on here as most only offer 2 sets per bed. 5) I rent to families and responsible adults only. No house parties. I was just a little confused upon arrival. I was looking for St Clements, not Caravelle. Small inconvenience quickly remedied. Derrick was excellent with communication—quick to respond and very accommodating.We were a bit surprised by the size of the unit, as the pictures make it seem larger than it is. The description of a “wraparound balcony” also felt a little unclear. It is a nice balcony, but it doesn’t actually wrap around the building as I expected—it may have just been my own interpretation.The unit was generally clean, though I did notice some buildup on the showerhead and dust on the bathroom vent, which I mentioned to Derrick so the cleaning crew can address it. Otherwise, everything was tidy, and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed.One thing to note is that there’s no dishwasher or washer/dryer in the unit. With three kids, that made keeping up with laundry and dishes a bit challenging.Overall, we had a great stay. I’d especially recommend this unit for a couple or anyone planning to dine out often, since that would minimize the need for extra kitchen or laundry amenities. I had read that parking was a problem for some , but we had no issues with that.The condo had everything you needed to start your stay( minus spices and the like) very generous with towels, and again that balcony 🐬 a great spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We were wanting a relaxing vacation with as much time as possible in the water and that’s what we got from the ocean that was steps away, the st Clement’s pool and the caravelle pool. We have two girls (ages 6 & 3). A few small negatives: The condo was lacking a fourth chair for meals at the counter and the sliding door to the bedroom was hard for my girls to open so we had to leave it cracked enough for them to get in and out to go to the bathroom if needed. The second bedroom is also between the apartment entrance and rest of the condo so getting in and out during bed or nap was difficult. We made do and enjoyed the awesome balcony and views. ##### Shannon L. The place itself is on the smaller side, but the view is worth it along with the price. It was good for our family that involved 2 adults, an infant that used a Walker, and 6 year old. You get what you pay for. The view is wonderful and I could see the beach and the pool below. It was wonderful to see the waves throughout the stay. The balcony had amazing shade during the afternoon. The owner of this property was great and the communication was impeccable. There were a couple times we reached out to him for questions, and he responded within 10-15 minutes. The kitchen is pretty well stocked and has good appliances. The only thing that sucks, and this is out of the owners hands— the parking. It is tight and there are poles for obstacles. We were able to move around ok for having a mid size SUV. ##### Sarah I. View is just as it looks in the photos. Apartment is basically a studio with another small bedroom immediately as you enter from the hall. We could not enter/exit once our daughter (4yo) was asleep, so that was a bit inconvenient; so we might not recommend it for families. Otherwise, as described but not as clean as we were expecting based on past reviews. Dust and dirt under the beds and dust on other items in the room, but overall very tidy. Nice to have the many towels provided, dish soap, cookware and utensils. We stayed here late June, so it was not very warm – 50s/60s with strong winds. There was maintenance in several of the buildings in this complex, and the indoor pool pictured was not open and the laundry room was closed the first day. The property manager did say we could access pools in adjacent buildings (very nice!) but ended up not being too convenient for our family. Very loud guests came in the building at 4:00am and woke up our daughter in the bedroom by the door (which is also just by the elevator). Nothing one can do about that, but it again isn't that convenient for a family. Many people smoking on their balconies as well, which would waft into the apartment, unfortunately. Overall, it is a good bargain for a beachfront spot with a responsive property manager. ##### Ryan M. Well kept, clean, comfortable, and of course, outstanding view of the sea. Safe area, walkable to a few local restaurants - the ones a few minutes walk are not very good, but if you are willing to walk 10-15 minutes West there are a couple good ones including Jerusalem.
