Right on the water where we watched cormorants dive for fish and one day a bald eagle perched on the dock. Groceries and restaurants were close by. Brookgreen garden, which is a family favorite was less than 10 minutes away. The house itself was well laid out, making it easy to gather together or to separate. The kitchen was well stocked. There were a couple of mild disappointments. The 2 closest access points to the ocean were closed, which was not disclosed in advance. There were no lights on the dock until the last day.
