Water park mostly closed. No water at all for hours and no one even told us. Staff was rude and couldn’t be bothered. Indoor pools dirty. Wait staff are restaurant and bar were amazing kind people, as well as service staff. Front desk and managers were awful and unapproachable. No communication. Beds are spring mattress super uncomfortable

Upon arrival the toilet was clean but the basin was not filled with water. I turned the input valve and then the toilet filled. The TV did not work. Thought it was batteries for the remote but when maitainence came and moved the dresser we found out it was not plugged in! Never had to check if my hotel TV was plugged in before. Both the sink and shower did not drain. When showering you were quickly up to your ankles in water. The sink also didn't drain which gives you the feeling there are clots of hair in the drainage pipes and hence the system is not clean. The personel were fine however and the shower had great water pressure with instant hot water.

We were sold on the property for the water park and arcade features but after checking in we realized the water park was actually broken and not running the arcade is also not open because of renovations they have 4-5 games in the hotel. The pool was so chlorinated that mine and my children’s eyes were burning after 10 minutes we had to leave. There was not much to do for kids during the rain. Overall would not go back to this hotel.

Well, overall everything was dirty. Sand everywhere and dirty. The doors of the kitchen cabinets didn’t open in full because it would hit the light on the ceiling, refrigerator door either hit the cabinets or the door jamb. Toilet was always running. The unit need a serious update and some painting. We select a unit with two “rooms” but we found it with no doors. Also cockroaches running around.

The pool areas were dirty with cloudy oily water in the indoor pools. The outside pools were dirty with a lot of leaves. When we checked into the room we had to ask for new sheets. The ones on the beds had red and brown stains on them. The resort has a no contact house keeping policy. Which they do not enter your room. I had to get my own sheets from the front desk and change them myself.

The view of the ocean was spectacular.The staff was friendly. However, the mattresses were not good. Our backs hurt the entire stay. Even my 8-yr old complained.There should be a disclaimer when booking about parking: ONLY SMALL AND MID SIZE VEHICLES.(Maybe there is and I didn't see when booking)

Our door could not stay shut and can just be pushed open, so we couldn’t leave the room once we 1st got there until maintenance came and fixed lock but was in room for 2 hours and couldn’t leave until he finished because all our bags were in room

The stay overall was perfect ❤️. Only issue we had was two staff members were super rude and nonchalant with guest who was asking questions. I even watched one employee on the phone making rude facial expressions while answering a guest questions. I understand our questions maybe a little annoying however we would just like to answer for our own peace at mind.

I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone. It certainly wasn't worth the money. The front desk staff, seemed annoyed to be there, and after my three night stay, I was also annoyed.The overall appearance of the property was rundown. Rust stains visible everywhere and patio chairs dirty. Toilet paper was was more than halfway done on day 1, it was obvious a proper room turnover wasn't done. I called for fresh towels and toliet paper and didn't receive it until over 5 hours later. Please skip the breakfast buffet, the food was absolutely insipid. Lastly, on day three we were awakened by loud continuous banging. It was pest control, stopping by to spray our room. I was still in my pjs. The ocean view from my room was breathtaking and is the only reason for my 2 star rating, otherwise it would be a zero.

Good place to stay. A little overpriced for the quality. The rooms can use some love. The furniture was dingy and there was rust on anything metal. We kept hearing this strange rumbling in the walls in the kitchen and bathroom and sometimes from the hallway. That alone would deter another stay. The tiki bar was fun, the pizza overpriced, the convenience store reasonable.

I was super disappointed this trip. We stayed in one of the suits facing the water park. Our bed was so uncomfortable we ended up checking out a day early. The walls were not installed well at all. We had noisy neighbors and loud people up and down the halls. The room was pretty decent as far being clean. With the weather being cold we were hoping for a good indoor pool experience that didn’t happen. One pool area with a beautiful view of the ocean was only 3 feet deep and the hot tubs had so much chlorine it was foaming. I was scared to let my kids in it and just the smell burned your eyes. The other indoor pool was locked at lunch when it was suppose to be open at 8am. It took 20 minutes for someone to let up in. Once we were in the chlorine wasn’t too bad in there. It had a deeper end too. However it was old and dirty looking. You felt gross being in there. Over all one of the worst trip experiences we have had.

I really liked the size of our condo/suite, the furniture was beachy & nice, in good shape. Excellent curtains all in good condition. We used 3 of the 4 beds; 2 double beds when you walked into the room, with a full bath off the beds; then a walk through kitchen, into a living room/dining area and a half bath. The bathroom fans were really loud and need replacing and I found the lights were so bright it interrupted the sleep when you were at the bed beside the bathroom. Beds were okay. the pull down bed was good, we didn’t use the couch bed. Couch was comfortable enough and had cozy cushions. There was NO mold or bad smell anywhere thankfully, no carpets. Pillows were not comfortable, beds were ok but woke often. Good view of the beach, which was about a block to the water. Kitchen: stove top burner, a microwave, 2 fridges (we only used the one), microwave, appropriate lighting but not a lot of plug ins. A balcony, with seating and a table, though white chairs were a bit stained. Storage -good sized closet when you walk in and wall open storage for groceries. There was a safe but we didn’t use it. Bathroom floor had some hair on it, Laundry coin stacked machine outside our door. There were 2 tv’s; no cable but you could go on different apps like Hulu, YouTube,Close to the beach. The Sand Dunes was spread out and we were out of the main building with a dirty pool, two more on parallel streets. Same signs as Ocean Dunes beside us. Stayed 2 nights, balcony door didn’t lock

I reserved the 3 bedroom ocean view condo. Overall the visit was okay. The room was clean and well equipped with kitchen supplies. The communication was rating was low because on check-in we was told the indoor and outdoor pool was operational and heated. However, the only the outdoor pool was operational and was not heated. The other attractions that make the hotel attractable was closed including the kid fun zone. I’m guessing this a reason for the low rate. But we still enjoyed our time in the room. Luckily we brought our own family fun games. I recommend to book during the season hours the water park and fun zone is operational. Basically spring and summer.

I requested a suite and it look like a nightmare from hell. The halls were ranked with the smell of pee and smoke. Then they gave me a tiny room with no accommodation and said it’s ocean view! I didn’t care about a view we needed space for my husband and my 2 children. Horrible stay. And I have been all over the world and Myrtle beach, the worst stay. Will never go back. I booked through Expedia and they could get a hold of the front desk and when I went down there wasn’t anybody there around 7pm.

The stay was ok. Need upgrades bad it was just ok. The game room was like 7 games. The room I didn’t sleep undercover. I alway bring my own blankets do to thin spreads on bed. No roomservice or cleaning only request swap out of towel. Pizza bar was closed. But the fireworks for new year was the best part.

Overall it was a nice stay. But had a few issues within the 3bed 2 bath condo. The toilet was broken and had to get maintenance to replace part. The dining room table leg was broken off and didnt notice til we put our Christmas dinner on it and nearly lost it all but caught it. They couldnt replace the table til after we left they said. So didnt use it the 6 days were there. And either the people below or above were heavy weed smokers (which i dont mind they smoke or weed itself) but it carried in our room alot to the point we had to vent the place often. Kitchen supplies were very limited as in pots, pans, etc. Had to go buy stuff to cook for a family of 5.

We do have 24-hour security for issues like the smell if we are made aware. I also apologize for the pots and pans.
