Beautiful ocean views from the oversized balcony of this updated 3 bedroom 2 bathroom corner unit! You will feel right at home with granite countertops in its large open kitchen, flat screen TVs, full sized washer and dryer, spacious living room and a private balcony giving plenty of room for you and your guests to enjoy your Myrtle Beach vacation. Master bedroom has a king bed with a full bath, the second bedroom offers two queens, third bedroom with two twins and the living room has a sleeper sofa. The Carolina Dunes is located in the prestigious Golden Mile section of Myrtle Beach, known for being centrally located to all the Myrtle Beach attractions, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and within walking distance of two restaurants, a bar and Starbucks! The host was very friendly and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We made the best of things since we were at the beach but were disappointed when we decided we wanted to watch a movie together on the last night and ony one tv (in a bedroom) worked. Many of the lamps did not work, and the mail toilet continued to run until you manually adjusted it in the tank. The property management offered to come and address but it was too little too late. The place was dirty so much that we wondered if we were the first guests of the season (mold in washer, old clothes and linens left behind in it, dirty sock under a chair, crayons, candy and wrappers in the cushions, on patio, and under furniture). Again, we tried not to complain since we were at the ocean, but this place could have done much better. ##### Heather P. Will definitely do it again. The property was clean, loved the unit due to the location at the end of the hall, no traffic. The views were breathtaking! They had security on-staff the entire time. Our stay was during the end of Spring Bike Rally and the start of Atlantic Beach Bike Week. Tons of police, state troopers everywhere. We felt very safe. The only suggestion I have is I would say was they need to check the toilets, they were running. The one in the main area ran more than the one in the primary bedroom. The queen mattress's definitely need updated. They were very uncomfortable and the bed my husband and I slept in made us roll to the middle all night. The sleeper sofa mattress was very uncomfortable. The water pressure was awful and I had trouble even rinsing the soap out of my hair. The elevator smelled like urine (even though I know this is no fault to the owner) the entire time we were there. The living room pillows were soiled and they need replaced. On a positive note, we thought the location was great; the beachfront was nice and very easy to get to. The kitchen was nice and big and supplied well. ##### Wendy D. Location on the beach and proximity to restaurants excellent. The only negative comment about condition would be that the patio door needs to be replaced as it was stiff. We could hear many of the other condo's doors being changed during our stay which must be in the same condition. On a plus side I would like to say that the management staff (Luxury rentals) were excellent. over a 9 week stay, we had a few minor issues and also problems with the heating (February). They always responded immediately and sent a handyman around within hours. They also followed up personally to make sure everything was OK. Excellent service. ##### Steven M. We enjoyed our stay at Carolina Dunes, the unit was beautiful, clean and well stocked. Location is close to everything. We stayed over a holiday, my only complaint is with people below us, they were very loud until 2-3 in the morning. Could not sleep in master bedroom or enjoy the balcony they were so loud.
