Pent House Unit! Camelot Resort

Summary:
You must be at least 21 years of age to rent our properties.
Come enjoy this ocean front unit here in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Wake up in the morning and drink your coffee on your personal balcony while looking at the ocean for miles, enjoying the nice sea breeze. This resort has an outdoor hot tub, a kid splash area/kiddie pool, an indoor lazy river, an outdoor pool (with a pool bar), and an ocean front fitness center. It also has an onsite Dunkin Donuts for you coffee fix!

The Space:
This ocean front unit has views for miles. Look directly out to the Atlantic Ocean from your Pent House view! This unit contains two queen beds in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living area in case more friends or family want to join. The unit is also equipped with a kitchen including an oven, stove, and microwave so you can make your favorite meals while taking in the ocean breeze.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to all the amenities at the Camelot by the Sea resort including the inside/outside pools, hot tubs, lazy river, kid splash area, pool bar, and fitness center.
The guest cannot hold the host responsible for resort controlled amenities. (inoperable pools, hot tubs, balconies)

The Neighborhood:
Camelot by the Sea is in the heart of Myrtle Beach with lots to do in the area. Some restaurants near by are Bummz Beach Cafe, RipTydz, Sea Captain's House, and Hot Tomato. Some popular attractions are the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel, Ripley's Aquarium, Family Kingdom Amusement Park, and the Hollywood Wax Museum. The Coastal Grand Mall, Tanger Outlets on Hwy 501, Market Common, and Broadway at the Beach are good areas for shopping.

Getting Around:
Vehicles continue to be the primary form of transportation in Myrtle Beach, but a guest could use Uber-Lyft or choose to bike or walk. However biking and walking would limit your dining and activities.

Other Things to Note:
The renter agrees to Hold Eagle Beach Rentals' employees and unit owners harmless for any accident, damage, or lost/stolen items that may occur during renter occupancy. The renter further agrees to comply with the resort's conditions, regulation and rules.
This is a non-smoking property and all guest rooms are non-smoking. Smoking in the rooms will result in a cleaning fee of $250.00 USD

Our minimum age requirement to rent is 21 years old.
This unit contains 2 queen size beds and a sleeper sofa.

Interaction with Guests:
Hosts are located in Myrtle Beach and are available to help when needed, however we will respect your privacy. Due to the keyless entry we will likely not meet our guests unless needed.

Will not come back, somewhere good location!

This is a good location, the apartment is near everything but the apartment is discussing! Dirty plates and crack roaches in kitchen and bathroom, paint is falling off wall and the host is unresponsible. I texted them that night to let them know, all I got is ,''thank you for letting me know''. Waste of time and money I will never come back or recommend it to someone else.

Short stay

The property itself was fair. At check-in our parking passes were not in the room, also there were no clean sheets left for the third bed which was a pull-out couch.Our unit had roaches in which was very disgusting. The property manager replied and had someone come and spray the next day but that didn't seem to help much.

Location, Location, location!

This property is perfect, if your looking for walking proximity to all of the things! Candy store, liquor store, souvenir store, restaurants are all within two blocks. Check in was flawless and clean up was reasonable too

COCKROACH INFESTED AND DIRTY

Room was dirty and dusty. Floor unfinished and unsafe. Pull out bed was impossible to sleep on because mattress was so terrible it wasn’t even flat and as thin as possible. Sheets and blankets weren’t cleaned. The curtains filthy and had horrible smell. light sockets didn’t work. Appliances rusty and everything outdated. This is a reality company who owns this unit and should be ashamed of themselves for not updating. Worst part of all was the cockroach infestation. We had to bring everything home in garbage bags and take costly measures to make sure we didn’t bring them to our own residence after this stay. Unfortunately we some how got them in our home and cost me several thousand dollars to fix this issue and hire an exterminator, had to take everything to dry cleaners and throw out all electronics. I’m so disappointed in this company. Reached out to VRBO and they did not do much to help and I reached out to this company several several times about what I had going on and they also did NOTHING!! Left me with no choice but to let others to be aware of renting form this company. I do believe that there are several other units in this place that are amazing And clean and up-to-date. It’s particular realty company who owns units you should be aware of. We had a great time at the Camelot resort itself. Just the room was bad and disgusting It was definitely this company who has rented this unit out that was at fault.

Room needs major upgrades beside the bathtub and vanity. Most of the lights did not work. Don’t let the word Penthouse fool you. Far away from that. With that being said the location is fine. But would not stay there ever again for many other reasons besides the room

Amazing view very clean condo

Absolutely amazing view. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed.pools and hot tubs were clean and nice. Perfect location with lots of amazing food and stores within walking distance. (River city cafe was fabulous) The AC was cold. Fridge and stove worked properly and staff was friendly and helpful. The balcony was perfect with the best view! We will definitely stay here again. We had an amazing time. Only thing I would change about this condo is the bed was very firm and not the most comfortable but served its purpose!

It what it was made out to be

It was nothing like my other experience. First, the room was not right because it was supposed to have two separate bedrooms. Then didn’t know until after I paid for it that we had to supply everything. The Wi-Fi sucked. Nothing never worked half the lights were out. The phone didn’t even have a cord to plug it up. The lady working in the pool was very rude to everybody. We didn’t get no housekeeping didn’t know that till afterwards no clean towels no nothing not what I thought a penthouse would be. Will never get another one. One of the worst trips I’ve ever had to the beach , and it was my grandkids first time there and it sucked

Great stay

The location was perfect and it had everything we needed. I feel like some people who reviewed this property. Don’t understand that this is Myrtle Beach and not West Palm Beach Florida. The place was great for what we needed it to be. Communication with the property manager was fantastic and they assisted me with everything that I needed. Definitely will be booking this in the future.

Our overall nice room. One of the beds was broken. But property manager offered to come. But we said we would not use. The view was amazing. My husband and I did a weekend getaway. So this was perfect for us.

online ad very deceptive

The online ads made the room look much better than reality. The flooring was dirty and uneven thus causing trip hazard. The bathroom was updated but that was it. Refrigerator needs to be replaced - dented and dirty exterior with rust inside. The microwave was rusty inside. Floor lamp in the living room was rusty. The baseboards and walls were dusty and dirty. Broken electrical outlet. Two double beds - both uncomfortable and one with bed bugs.

View was nice, but beds were very rough, me and my husband moved to pull out couch and we felt every spring and the center bar. Our towels couldnt get swaped out cuz our host said they didn't offer swap out service. So we had to make due. Left a day early., ill still book through vrbo usually its an awesome time on vacation, but does not apply with this stay

It was smaller than what the picture showed... curtains stained need to be cleaned loveseat very dirty rust on shower head rust on stove outside microwave not clean didn't cook on anything.. fire alarm not up in room was in top of closet no fire alarm worked refrigerator rusted at bottom needs to be deep cleaned and update room pullout bed very uncomfortable could feel springs in matters back hurt when wake only thing good was the view

Nice Penthouse

It was the perfect size for my family. I was happy that there was a full kitchen also. I know to bring more pots and pans for next time. I’m unsure if we needed parking passes but we didn’t get any but the parking was great.
