Enjoy this tropical paradise that is direct oceanfront! There are very few units where you have the view of the palm trees, the beach AND the ocean! You can lay in bed and see and hear the ocean. This unit has many upgrades. Located at the Sand Dunes Resort on Myrtle Beach's Golden Mile (74th Avenue North), Unit 232 on the second floor will become your new-found paradise. Have coffee or blender drinks on the balcony overlooking the beach, ocean and patio; relax in bed while listening to the waves; sit in the cozy chaise lounge reading a book or watching for the dolphins, or sit at the table to eat or watch the action on the beach. Enjoy the luxury of new furniture, an amazing rock wall behind the bed, new tile throughout, an upgraded 51' flat screen TV, new bed, and high-end linens. In the kitchen area, there is a 2 burner ceramic cooktop, microwave, full size refrigerator/freezer, and all the pots, pans, dinnerware and glassware you need. There is a toaster, blender (for those frosty drinks), ice bucket and Keurig coffee maker. All you should need is your food and your clothes! We are owner operated and many extras are provided with the condo! We provide bed linens and comforters, towels (bath and kitchen towels), iron and ironing board, a get-started supply of dish soap, garbage bags, paper towels, bath tissue - even shampoo, conditioner and soap! And more … No need to rent or bring beach chairs or an umbrella since they come with the room! We provide 2 Tommy Bahama chairs and an umbrella! We've even provided a beach bag and a small soft sided cooler. There are many amenities at the resort: Outdoor zero entry pool with lounge chairs overlooking the ocean Lazy River Indoor pool overlooking the ocean Jacuzzi Tubs Grassy outdoor patio overlooking the ocean with tables and chairs A fitness room, arcade, and convenience store 24- hour laundry facility Ice machines 3 onsite restaurants – River City Café, Fish Shanty, and a pizza place. Starbucks is right next door. And of course an oceanfront bar area so you can grab a drink Outside of the resort lies a thousand things to do - many restaurants, miniature golf courses, boating, fishing from a nearby pier, golfing, shopping (yes, there are outlet malls very close!), and looking for shells and shark teeth (my son's favorite thing to do!). Most everything is a less than 15 minute walk or drive and US 17 is only 2 blocks away where there are grocery stores, bars, liquor stores, and shops. The airport is less than 10 miles away too! The hotel is in a perfect location, between 2 large family entertainment areas – Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing – and very close to many of the local attractions – Carolina Opry, Pirate Show, and Medieval Times. This unit is not on the Sand Dunes rental program; therefore, daily maid service and Sand Dunes waterpark are not included. However, you have access to the indoor and outdoor pools and lazy river and they are all oceanfront! Your rental includes only the amenities paid for by the Homeowners Association. So come enjoy a piece of heaven. Wake up to amazing sunrises and go to sleep with the sounds of the ocean. You must be at least 25 years old to rent this unit. Proof of Age required. No Pets Allowed No Smoking Allowed in the unit or on the balcony - The $250 deposit will be retained if smoking in the unit or balcony occurs. Well, that could not be farther from the truth! The view is nice... but, there's absolutely no way you'll HEAR that ocean!! There's a very loud A/C condenser directly below the balcony, along with the units own A/C sitting out there too, and there's zero screen on doors, so did they sleep with the door open to the outdoors?Also, the unit is low enough, guests walking around, right under you, at the bar / restaurant area, may be able to see you laying in the bed! The unit is just ok, it wasn't totally filthy, but, it needs some updates, painting and the floor rugs were very used! It's VERY small, it's just an old motel room, with a tiny " kitchen " area. If you're staying a night or two and do not plan on cooking, or spending alot of time in the room, it's ok. Wash those dishes before using, what we pulled out were all greasy and half washed. Thankfully we had disposable and left the dishes alone! We stayed 6 nights. No place to put clothes in the tiny closet, and the vacuum, broom, beach chairs are all inside there. The other tiny side is locked up for the owners things?The largest part of this unit, is the huge tv. Don't expect much from the pool area, lazy river, doesn't move you! The indoor looked gross, and the elevators are never cleaned! Parking is horrible. ##### Tamara R. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the bed was way too soft for us. Once you were in the bed it was impossible to roll over, you literally had to raise up to get to another position. I was not a fan of the bed. As some others comments stated it was soft and droopy on the edges. Saggy sheets. We happened to go when hundreds of college grads were there. We were unable to enjoy our balcony it was so loud all day and night. That is why we booked this condo on the water. The property itself is dated and not so clean. They have rules but don't enforce them. We were offered a refund if chose to leave but we could not change our flight. I had hoped the grads would leave sooner but they left the same day we did. I wish our host had taken our word for what we were experiencing, but stated no one else was having issues. I can't imagine that. I had to send pics and videos. ##### Diane B. We spent many hours on the balcony enjoying the views and great weather. All instructions were very clear, and Angie was always available for questions. This was our first time at Myrtle Beach. There was so much to do, and we quickly acclimated to the roads and attractions. The resort was very quiet and well-staffed. ##### Terry K. Loved having an umbrella and chairs for the beach. The check in/out process and communication with owner was amazing. The only negatives would be the lack of parking and cleanliness of our exterior hallway-which cannot be controlled by the owners. Wonderful week! ##### Lana O. The room was beautifully decorated the bed was so comfortable and luxurious. This is only my opinion but would have liked to have one more comfortable chair to relax in. View of beach /ocean great, and short, easy walk to beach and cafe was amazing , as well as steps away from indoor pool and hot tub that was often deserted—like our private spa. Just beware that kitchen is like a bar sink, with tiny countertop/prep area, and food storage area limited, but full-size fridge was all we needed, and was cold and clean, even ice cubes in two trays in freezer upon arrival. Owner has everything you may need. Beach chairs (which were very comfy), umbrella, beach bag, etccc.. all we needed was our food and drinks! Could’ve used a bigger cooler but the one there worked for about 5 drinks. If I had to complain about one thing it would be the bed, too soft we felt like we drowned in it but that’s just a personal preference. Place is nicely decorated. Great location, resort has everything you may want/need.bar drinks were good. It is more like a king size hotel room rather than condo but it worked perfect for my husband and I.
