Check out this completely renovated 1-bedroom vacation rental at the Carolinian Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC! This ocean view 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment is fully furnished with 1 king bed, a queen size sleeper, and will accommodate 2-4 guests. Our guests enjoy having their own private balcony where they can relax and enjoy the views of the ocean. As of Spring 2023 this vacation rental has been completely renovated and features some truly breathtaking updates. We couldn't be more excited to share them with you! To start, all carpeting was removed and LVP flooring was installed in the living room and bedroom. New baseboards were installed. The entire unit was repainted with modern and welcoming colors, and new decor was added throughout! A brand new king-size bed frame was installed, along with a new mattress. The bedroom also features new nightstands, new lamps, new custom made TV stand, oversized mirror, and new pull-down shades. In the living room a new queen sleeper sofa was installed, along with new end tables, new lamps, new electrical outlets, new custom shades (no curtains), new dining table and stools, new TV stand, and a new light fixture. Everything in this condo is practically brand new! Guests will enjoy access to the private ocean view balcony furnished with brand new balcony furniture to relax and enjoy the sunset. No expense was spared during this renovation. Out with the old in with the new! The kitchen is located right off the main living space and has been completely renovated to showcase a much more modern look. This space features new oversized granite countertops, new full sized stainless steel appliances, new tile backsplash, new light fixture, and new cabinet doors. We provide all cookware, utensils, plates, cups, and basic kitchen necessities. The cabinets have been stocked with new dishes and cookware making it very easy for guests to cook a meal or small snack. For guests who prefer to dine out, there are several restaurants within a short walk or ride from the Carolinian Resort. In addition, Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Postmates have become very popular food delivery options. Just behind the kitchen you will find the bathroom. The bathroom features a new, custom vanity with storage drawers, new mirror, new toilet, tiled shower with new glass doors, new shower head and fixtures. It's absolutely beautiful! Pack light! We provide our guests with bath towels, washcloths, toiletries, bedding, and everything you will need to enjoy your stay. We will also provide basic "starter toiletries" that include toilet paper, paper towels, dish liquid, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner. Additionally, our guests will have access to basic resort cable and wifi. Centrally located in the apartment, guests will access a full-size, washer and dryer. Guests love the convenience of being able to wash their clothing right in the comfort of the vacation rental! The Carolinian is a 21 story resort located on the 26th block of Ocean Blvd; a perfect location! Guests love being able to walk to a number of dining and entertainment options within 2-3 minutes of the Carolinian. Our guests truly enjoy the location and proximity to the attractions, shopping, dining, theaters, mini golf, go karts, golfing, fishing, and so much more! Our guests also have access to free parking and beach access. It's important to note that this property has a minimum age requirement of 21 to book. Reservation holders must be at least 21 years of age or older in order for their reservation to be valid. Reservation holders under the age of 21 are at risk for potential fines and eviction. It's very obvious that friends, relatives and pretty much everyone affiliated with the staff has the code to the door and they over run the pool, lazy river and all amenities. The parking garage is a 2 block walk to the actual building. The owner is very bad about communicating pretty much anything. Also, this floor obviously has not been cleaned in a very long time, even though we were told we couldn't get in 15 minutes early because it was being cleaned. We were waiting outside the door and there was never anyone inside cleaning. Owner was just making us wait until exactly 4 to let us check in and blatantly lied. Enjoyed the use of the umbrella and chairs that were left in the closet. You could tell the table had been fixed at some point and was wobbly. 2 things that could be improved would be a bigger bed sheet as it would slip off the mattress every night and when we got to the room there was sand on the countertops and the floors had to be swept and vacuumed as there was sand and a broken necklace on them. As for the condo itself: The layout is nice and that’s where the compliments end. Where to begin….the kitchen is extremely lacking in everything ! Unlike the description of being completely stocked for your cooking needs, we found that there were only 4 dinner forks, knives and spoons. FOUR ! That’s it! There was no large pot for boiling pasta or seafood. There was no cutting board or drain board for dishes. There were 2 smaller pots one of which the teflon was so scratched and damaged that we didn’t feel it was safe to use. Also only one medium sized frying pan. No blender and only a tiny 4 cup coffee maker. Not what I would call “well stocked” Now to the sofa bed. One word: YUCK ! The mattress protector on the sofa bed mattress was disgusting, period. It was stained and not something one would want to even put a sheet over and sleep on. Not to mention that the “mattress” was just a cheap thing with zero support. Needless to say we did not use it. Other issues included a broken pocket door handle on one of the bathroom doors, the dryer lint filter had not been cleaned in Lord knows how long, the tv remotes did not work and the tv in the main area had to be reprogrammed with channels. In addition the coffee table had a broken leg and the lock to the sliding balcony door was difficult to lock. Also there was only 1 wine glass. The real kicker to all of this ? Apparently a family who rented the unit a month prior to us had noted the exact same issues as stated here. So in that month nothing was done to correct the problems! Also I called the rental company while we were there to point out this issues. The fact that one month went by with no corrections to the issues at hand tells me that the owners and the rental company think little of their renters! We certainly would never rent this unit again and neither should you! ##### Karen B. The owner must not come often to visit the condo to ensure everything it in place. The tub was not clean. The carpet is sticky. The sliding door in the bathroom had a missing screw. My husband had to fix both TV 's and take one off demo mood. There was a glob of hair behind the toilet. The kitchen only had one pan and pot that could be used. A small pan still had dried egg in it. I truly tried to clean it. There are missing dishes, pots with no top, and cups (only one wine glass) to a set. I had to clean the dishes because they were not clean. The ice in the ice maker taste nasty and filter needs to be changed. The pull out sofa bed was had a mattress cover but had rusted the bottom of the mattress (brown stain). The blanket smelled like the inside of someones bottom, had to wash it. The patio door was unlocked on arrival and had trouble closing it each time. The coffee table has a broken leg. The kitchen table is not level. The decor was dated and the ledge on the glass wall no one cleans, had spider webs. The curtain panel had stains on it. The best is we had shelter and family time in the condo. Please Carolinian have the owner made aware of the problem to improve. I will not be returning. ##### Crystal R.
