The food is excellent at the restaurant on-site, especially the fish! It would have been nice to have a map of everything available though. The parking was not the best. ##### James B. We were close to the indoor pool and all of the hotel amenities! It was off season so the water was cold, but the sun and balcony were perfect!! We hadn't been to Mrtyle Beach in over 15 years and I will definitely book this condo again. Loved the location with beach front view. the comforter needed switched out (had stuff on it) and someone left the old mattress cover on bed( we are in charge of making and undoing bed), so that means it was not checked to be clean after other guests. Bathroom needs some updating and hallways of building weren’t the cleanest. Restaurant had good breakfast and drinks. Beach was clean and peaceful. ##### Cassidy A. A quaint basic room with a comfortable bed and sofa. We were able to cook most of our meals in the room with the stovetop and microwave. Sitting on the deck was noisy with the restaurant below us, an indoor pool next to us, and outdoor a/c units. However, we had a great view of the ocean. Property management was extremely responsive with 2 issues that we had in the room. The location is close to all of the Myrtle Beach entertainment. We highly recommend! ##### Lisa C. The only downside was having to check in at an office about 25 minutes away prior to going to the condo itself. The bed had a thin comforter over it but zero pillows and blankets on the bed. We had to make it. Then none of the bathroom towels or washcloths were anywhere to be found. They ended up being in a linen bag on the floor. Just found it odd we had to make the bed and search for stuff. It’s a very outdated old hotel room but it was cute enough and the access to the beach couldn’t be more perfect. All in all it was good! ##### Mariah A. Jun 30, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy Disliked: Communication #### Vacation rental I loved staying at this resort but in the future I will not book through Ocean Breeze rentals, I will be booking straight through the resort, Sand Dunes. It is a wonderful resort, only downfall is parking. You always will find a parking space but could be high up in the parking garage. If you book through VRBO, AIR bnb you only get access to one pool. If you book through the actual resort you get acc as to all pools and water parks. This is was a big deal to us as we have little kids and they were bummed they didn’t get to go to the water park. Otherwise the resort was great! Room was very clean! Don’t like Ocean breeze rentals they were not kind or informative on the phone. Never said we didn’t get the water park. ##### Lillyan F. We enjoyed the location we were in. 2nd floor had quick and easy access to all of the available amenities. Barely had to use the elevator! Oceanfront view from balcony, pools, restaurants, bar, and cafe were all highlights and conveniently located on the resort. Easy access to the beach and a lifeguard post right outside of the hotel was appreciated. For a night out we chose Broadway at the Beach and it was only 10 minutes away if that! There were also tons of restaurants and supermarkets closeby! We had a great time overall! Our only hiccups both came on the first night. Upon arrival our access code did not work. We tried it several times with failure. wife was able to get someone on the phone and request a new access code which was granted and worked fine for the rest of our stay. ##### Scott H. The room wasn't the cleanest, the air conditioning broke on 4th night, which was a friday, they wouldn't be able to fix it until Monday. It was 97 degrees! We asked if we left could we be reimbursed for one day? (We were checking out on Sunday and this was Sat.) We didn't have our air bnb until Sunday in Florida. They said they would. I paid $1400 for 5 nights they returned $116!!! It cost me more to get a motel in Florida for Sat. Night since I couldn't check in till Sun!!! ##### Diane L. Reviewer Comments: We love the room we stay in at Sand Dunes. It is just perfect for a best friend get away. The view of the ocean is amazing. The furniture is updated. The bed is a King and that is awesome, but it needs a mattress topper because it is rather too firm. The couch bed also needs a topper so it is more comfortable. We LOVE the carpet. The directions for the stove are a bit confusing...please revise with step by step directions. Property was clean. The curtains need to be replaced due to some rips. Bring your own DVDs if you want to because there is a DVD player. It would be nice to have a Roku or Smart TV. If you ever need to replace the toilet, please replace with a higher toilet. We are not complaining, just giving suggestions to make the amazing place even better.
