You're sure to hear the Echo of the Ocean sitting on this home's oceanfront screened porch! The walkway down to the sand has a sitting area for your convenience as well as a gas grill. Just a short walk to the Garden City Pier and all it has to offer, this house has everything you need! 6 bedrooms and 6 baths will accommodate 18 comfortably. The living area has a 60” smart television, and you'll love the classic décor. The kitchen has sleek black appliances, with lots of seating. Upstairs even has a second sitting area with a large-screen television. 6 full baths make it even more comfortable for everyone. Ocean Echo is the perfect family vacation home!

The stay was nice. The porches and balconies along with steps leading down to beach are in desperate need of repair. Underneath the house needs sand removal and cleaning.

Great location

Echo is perfectly placed in Garden City. Short drives or walks to everything. The pier was exceptional with several good bands all week. Close to restaurants at Murrels Inlet was a plus. The house was perfect for relaxing near or on the beach. The 6 bathrooms are a plus. The kitchen has every utensil, pots, and dishes. Having a Keurig and coffee pot was a surprise. I would definitely book this home again.

Nice beach front house - we would stay again.

Nice property right on ocean. Nice ocean views from several windows. Upstairs Master has nice sitting room. Kitchen was large, plenty of space and had everything we needed. Living/dinning areas were very spacious. The house is very tall - two negatives the entry stairs are very narrow and there are 16 steps to get to the landing then about 6 more steps, so lots of steps to go up and they were so narrow we felt a bit uncomfortable but managed OK. Also because the house is so tall the heat rises and it was pretty hot upstairs, the AC did not cool as well upstairs , even at night as it did downstairs, the downstairs AC was fine. One major bigger issues but was corrected immediately - the carpet in the entire house was filthy and we were concerned with little ones crawling around, so my wife called the management company and they immediately sent a guy to steam clean all the carpets, he did a great job and got the carpets cleaned really well but he said the carpets looked like they were not well taken care of.

Great home for large families

The pictures online don’t do it justice. It was much better in person. Bigger than we expected. Location was great close to Myrtle but not as crowded. Only issue was a sticky door to the balcony but other than that it was great. Each couple had their own bathroom so what more can you ask for. Definitely would rent it again

Nice spacious property, great beach access - just needs some attention

Positives: Very nice house with spacious rooms. Six bedrooms and bathrooms worked well for our family of 13. Bunk room for kids very nice. Large dining table wonderful (could use window blinds as the sun beating in was unbearable at times), kitchen well-appointed. Two living areas helpful, and both were good sizes. We cared most about access to the beach and it was perfect - just steps away! Negatives: Entire property needs a refresh and a good spring cleaning. The upstairs had probably not been cleaned at all though most beds were made (top bunks were not made...). Many beds lacked mattress pads. Toilets flushed with difficulty, some stoppage. Broken window in king room. Maintenance men came to replace screens on porches - we were not aware they had been contacted and they just appeared at the back porch. Scared our family. Would have been better for them to come to the front door and knock. However, the men who came were VERY nice and did a good job fixing the screens. Beach Bundle of towels - no hand towels were included. The worst - FIREWORKS all around us. They were being set off nightly by neighbors. We had to escape into the house. Went on for hours. Not the fault of Ocean Echo, of course.

Ocean Echo was an ocean front property. Beach was easily accessible, house accommodated our family perfectly, and we plan to book the house for our next summer’s family vacation.

Family Fun

We went with extended family and had an amazing time. We hit a couple snags with housekeeping before we got there (linens and such) the office was so helpful and quick to help us though. I was shocked, 10 minutes and everything was fixed. The location can be a bit loud at night. It didn’t bother the younger ones in our group, just our parents. :). The location is so beautiful and waking to the sunrise over the water complete made up for it! I will be renting through Dunes and this area again!
