Office staff was great i have no complaints towards them they have a great team my only issue was with the bar the lady who works the pool bar was very rude and racist waited 2 hours for food paid in advance and tipped her every one who ordered the same as me and my boyfriend who came out after us to order got their food when he went to ask about our food another worker said 2 hours is insane and told my boyfriend the lady didn’t put our ticket in we were never accommodated for the long wait she talked to me as if i was bother over all other than that the hotel is great

Overall good property. Nice and attentive staff. The room did not have screens if you wanted to open the patio /deck door. The AC option didn’t work so we were dependent on the ocean breeze. Thankfully it was not too hot.

The AC had to be set to 70 but it wasn’t working at all. I had to buy fans. It was ok, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

I was told I would get a jetted tub (didn’t have one), a spa tub (didn’t have one), and an indoor pool (once again, didn’t have one). There was black mold in the vents also.

Our condo was advertised as having an ocean view but was on the first floor & all you could see was the pool & sea grass. Unit was located directly across from ice machine which ran constantly, They have the thermostat locked so you can’t lower below 70 which meant we had to keep the drapes all closed as it got way too hot with the sun coming in. Outdated furniture with the condo really needing a deep clean as all of the baseboards were covered in thick dust. The guests above us let their kids run across the floor every night until midnight, sounded like a herd of cattle above us. The plus items of the property were good location, able to walk to several Cherry Grove restaurants, staff was very friendly, and there was plenty of towels, including pool towels. Very affordable so would probably stay again if we could book a higher floor where we could sit on balcony and see the ocean.

Great resort!
The apartment/condo was perfect!! Very clean. I had everything i needed. The complimentary coffee was delicious! It was so quiet at night - i never heard any slamming doors or people shouting as is sometimes common at MB resorts. Thanks so much for a great experience! It was cold and rainy, but i didnt mind.

The room was clean but what a musty odor!! When I returned home my clothes in my suitcase smelled just like the room..very musty mildew smell...I would not recommend, nor would I stay there again!!!

So, if you are looking for the Carlton or Ritz, this is not the place for you. Yes, the property needs a serious upgrade. The rooms need to remodeled. Our TV was broken on one side and only showed half a screen. I would have prefered different flooring (like an LVP in the room part). However, these are trifle things compared to actual stay. The place itself was clean and safe. Right on the beach and easily accessible. The parking was a little weird if you had to part across the street but still not bad. The staff was amazing. the room was a great size with a full kitchen (stove, refrigerator, microwave). The bathroom was a good size where you didn't feel like you had to open the door to have enough room to function. It was a great location. I would definitely stay again. Be aware though, that even if it has a balcony rail, doesn't mean it has a balcony. Our room had a window that opened like a balcony door and railings, but not an actual balcony (see pictures). And the only other things that the property can't really control was that it would reek of weed pretty much all day long coming from rooms and pool areas (not a prude, just allergic). But again, would stay again no problem.

The hotel staff was always more than helpful and we had a great stay. The 1 bedroom that we stayed in was clean and well fitted but it was kind of small and the mattresses left something to be desired The pools and hot tubs were in great shape. I hope they keep updating this property because we enjoyed our stay for the most part. The biggest gripe was that the TV’s weren’t smart tv’s where we could stream our normal app but we bought a hdmi cord for the phone and made do.

I reserved a 2 bedroom with kitchen and listing said a balcony. No balcony was there . There were no other rooms available so we were stuck. Very disappointed. I enjoy sitting on the balcony enjoying the ocean.

Our room was nice. It was clean and the bed was awesome. The pools and hot tubs were great. Ocean within walking distance. The only issue we had was the lamps by the bed did not work and the light over the table did not work. We didn’t need them so I didn’t worry about it.

Photos don't match reality on the view
photos of the room were NOT what we got. I rented the 2 bedroom apartment because the photos showed it as ocean/pool front and I was taking my mother who needs wheelchair assistance, and enjoys sitting on the balcony watching the ocean. The room was a side room with a parking lot view unless you went on the balcony and leaned over the rail to see the ocean. The property seems to be in some sort of transition with many updates complete and others in the works. The property is fine, beds were comfortable, couch was HORRIBLY not comfortable and when it rains 3 of 4 days, that matters. All of the employees we interacted with were fantastic. Once renovations are completed the property will be great. Just verify what your view will be if the ocean matters :(
