Great room with a fabulous view

I loved the view from this room. Waking up and immediately seeing the ocean is the best way to start your day. The resort is right on the beach, and you can rent an umbrella and chairs to relax in while at the beach. The pools and hot tubs are great too. There are outdoor showers to wash the sand off from the beach before going into the pool or the resort. The on-site restaurant has delicious food, and the poolside bar has a variety of drinks to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful

Very close to the beach, gorgeous home, very clean for a pet friendly home, gorgeous kitchen fully stocked, well maintained. Negatives: had to google how to work thermostat was 80+ degrees when we got there, slippery shower in the master(was clogged also), needs a shower bench, and bed in master was way too firm. Otherwise it was a beautiful stay, even though we were not oceanside we could hear the waves on the back deck when it was quiet.

You won’t sleep well

I love the fact we can bring our dogs …everything else needs improvement! Especially the beds ! They are horrible

The view was amazing! Our room was extremely clean and the amenities are plentiful. We even added an extra day to our trip. The front desk was helpful and friendly. The parking might be a slight inconvenience to some as it is in a parking garage across the street from the property. It didn’t bother us and I was in a walking boot.

Best & Worst

Best: I liked that it was a pet friendly resort. Enjoyed speaking to other families with their 4 legged baby. Pool was nice ~ poolside DJ was great. Variety of music. Check in was easy. Worst: Room was dated. Was not clear on cleaning rules. No housekeeping which was ok. No dish soap or cleaning cloth. I thought it would be included with a kitchen and all. Room could of been cleaned somewhat better, elevators were dirty. Bought appetizers from Indigo restaurant (onsight ) terrible food. Would not recommend eating there.

Relaxing stay in a clean, comfy, well-stacked room

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Patricia Grand! The room was clean, well stocked with kitchen supplies and the view was wonderful. We loved that we could take our little dog along with us and there was a nice, safe area for pets to relieve themselves. The only thing I would add to the room is another living room chair or sofa in order to relax without having to lie on the bed. The resort itself was clean, well-kept and all of the employees were polite and kind.

Great Room But…….

This is a great room but it should be listed as partial ocean view I instead of oceanfront. You only have a small view of the ocean. Also, we were there 3 days and didn’t have housekeeping service.

Pros and cons

We loved the view from the balcony and how close the hotel was to the board walk. I would’ve liked if the breakfast place was complimentary, like the description described. Also if the pool was open later, only to adults, to cut down on the children screaming from 8:30-11pm

No housekeeping services and no water pressure

Dissappoinred that the hotel provided no housekeeping services over our 5 day stay and we did not receive and reduction in cost. I understand covid precautions, but the hotel should have passed that savings onto their guests. Instead they are increasing their profit margin. Literally no housekeeping at all. No fresh towels, no one cleaning the sand off the floor so there is sand in your bed EVERY night. Also, the water pressure in the shower was ridiculous! I could spit faster than the water pressure. After a long sandy day at the beach, there's nothing better than a refreshing shower, but that was not possible in this room. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this property.

Great stay

Water pressure in our room wasn't very good. Heard from other guest that theirs was like a fire hydrant though. Pool side bar didn't seem to be open the whole stay, which may have just been because of covid. And it took forever to get extra towels sent up. Pool was nice and room was very clean. Had a great view of the ocean!

Great weekend getaway with some drawbacks

Great location, clean room, perfect for pets, great ocean view. However, inadequate bedding on bed - very thin- little more than a sheet. Wait for elevators is excessive. Due to building design, when the wind blows, the whole place whistles like a tea kettle - very off putting in the middle of the night. Resort restaurant / bar needs more staff.

Beachfront location

View was excellent, lovely keeping the slider open and listening to the waves at night. Floor was a little sandy but I can imagine its tough to clean it all up being across from the beach. The Service at the restaurant was very friendly but the food was not great, to put it kindly. Plenty of discounts offered at nearby attractions, was a nice bonus. I would happily stay here again.

Unacceptable

Once they came and cleaned my room and I got in it around by 8:30 but around at 4:00 it was okay but being disabled and have to wait on a room that's supposed to be done by 4:00 is unacceptable
