We love to make each guest's trip as memorable as can be. Nestled between the area's campgrounds, in the beautiful, oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resort. 143 By the Sea is fully furnished with the warm, welcoming comforts of home to provide a wonderful, relaxing stay. The unit overlooks a beautiful green space of majestic oaks and hydrangea bushes. It is also one of a few units with no parking in front of the balcony. A small view of the Atlantic Ocean is visible from a portion of the balcony. Please be sure to read through the information provided below and let us know if you have any questions. The house rules and check out procedures are listed at the bottom. \-------------------- THE SPACE -------------------- This is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom (950 sq feet) condo in the Myrtle Beach Resort. 143 By the Sea features 1 queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the second bedroom, a queen-sized sleeper sofa and a 3 in 1 - fold out - chair in the living room. Each bedroom and the living room are equipped with flat screen tvs, all having a premium cable package with on demand movies and television shows. The living room and master bedroom also have streaming capabilities with Netflix provided. A dvd player and small selection of dvds are available for your use. Quality linens and bedding are provided for each bed. Both bathrooms have a tub/shower combo and vanity. They are equipped with bath and hand towels, as well as wash cloths and individually wrapped facial wipes. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. It also features essentials such as: a standard coffee maker, blender, toaster, and cookware. The cabinets are stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. Additionally, a waffle maker and 2 crock pots (one large/one small) are available for you. 4 Turkish cotton beach towels, a couple folding chairs, a volleyball, football, bocce ball set, and sand toys are all waiting to be packed into the beach wagon (provided) for your days by the water! The green space directly outside has one of many barbeque grills and picnic areas throughout the resort. Bedrooms:2 Bathrooms: 2 Beds: 1 Queen (master), 2 Twins (2nd Bedroom), 1 Queen sleeper sofa, 1 Twin fold out (living room) PLEASE NOTE: Host and Co-Host do not maintain or have control of common amenities or areas including but not limited to: Wi-Fi, elevators, hallways, stairwells, pools, parking lots, grounds, etc. \-------------------- The A Building -------------------- The Myrtle Beach Resort's oceanfront A Building is the northernmost building on the property. To the east you will find the oceanfront pool and the beautiful beach and Atlantic Ocean! To the west you will find the seasonal (not open year round) lazy river/splash pad, and west end pool. The building and surrounding parking lot are maintained by the A Building maintenance team. Approximately 375 parking spaces surround the A Building providing ample parking for authorized guests. There are ramps and stairs into the first floor of the raised A Building (directions to the nearest ramp are sent in the check in information the morning of your stay). Unit numbers are marked on each door (low numbers to high from east to west in the building - even numbers on the south side and odd numbers on the north). There are three elevators and 4 stairwells within the building. Sundecks for all guests to enjoy are located on the 5th floor that offer great sunrise and sunset views, as well as relaxing sunning during the day! Each floor has a coin operated laundry room (just before the middle elevator) with a change machine in the third floor laundry room. The oceanfront A building’s trash bins are located at each of the exits. The common areas of the building are surveilled using recording devices maintained by Myrtle Beach Resort security. PLEASE NOTE: Host and Co-Host do not maintain or have control of common amenities or areas including but not limited to: Wi-Fi, elevators, hallways, stairwells, pools, parking lots, grounds, etc. \-------------------- RESORT/CONDO ACCESS -------------------- Check in information is sent to guests the morning of check in. This information gives the address as well as detailed driving instructions through The Myrtle Beach Resort and directions through the building to the condo door. As long as the reserving guest has met the ID requirement (House Rules), a subsequent message containing guest's gate and keypad codes will be sent prior to check in (4pm unless otherwise arranged). Registered guests can access all open resort amenities - there is no additional charge and wristbands/keys are not required. PLEASE NOTE: Host and Co-Host do not maintain or have control of common amenities or areas including but not limited to: Wi-Fi, elevators, hallways, stairwells, pools, parking lots, grounds, etc. \-------------------- PARKING -------------------- If you are driving, 2 parking passes are available during your stay. A parking fee will be collected by security upon arrival. The fee, $10 per vehicle per day, can be paid with a credit or debit card (cash payments will not be accepted) and is retained by The Myrtle Beach Resort. This fee is non-refundable. \-------------------- THE MYRTLE BEACH RESORT -------------------- Myrtle Beach Resort has much to offer for fun in the sun! Besides the easy access to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean you'll find: 6 pools (both indoor and outdoor), hot tubs, a lazy river, splash zone for kids, playground, basketball and tennis courts, a life sized chess/checkers board, and putt putting green! The Quarterdeck - a restaurant located on the beach features live music or karaoke (almost) nightly. Restaurants and other resort amenities are subject to closing without notice. \-------------------- POOL INFORMATION -------------------- The A Building Oceanfront pool is open year-round 9am-10pm (Closing earlier during the winter) The West End Pool and Lazy River (SEASONAL) is open from 9am - 10pm during the summer. Closing for both is scheduled for October 15th, which could also vary depending on weather conditions. The clubhouse and swim through pool is open from 9am - 10pm year-round (closing earlier during the winter) The 6000 pool is open from 9am - 10pm (closing earlier during the winter) The B Building pool is open year-round from 9am-10pm (closing earlier during the winter) \*This information is not guaranteed as pools can be closed without notice based on DHEC and CDC guidelines. \-------------------- PETS -------------------- NO PETS ARE PERMITTED AT MYRTLE BEACH RESORT. \- Service animals are permitted, but the must be registered with the building manager in advance of your stay at the resort. If you have not pre-registered your service animal, you will not be permitted into the resort. You will have to contact your host so you can complete and submit the proper paperwork. The security guards are NOT able to assist in this regard. If you bring an unregistered animal on property, you can be fined $500 and you will be evicted from the resort. Emili was very helpful and attentive to our needs and questions during our entire stay. She has thought through on everything you may need for your stay and provided much more than we were anticipating. The location is perfect. It’s close to the beach and in a quiet spot in the resort. There’s a restaurant/bar at the resort and several pools, including the lazy river, which was located right at the end of our hallway! There is also a picnic area and grill directly out in front of the balcony from the unit. The unit was clean, organized, and overall awesome! Cute, safe and convenient This property was excellently located and convenient to all the things we wanted to do. The condo is cute. The property is very safe, and although I was there by myself two nights of the stay I felt completely secure to take walks even after dark. The beach is pretty there and there are amenities at the resort that are very nice. The property manager was very kind to help me find the property and get in. I did feel that the condo needed a little patch up painting in places. Also it is advertised for up to 7 guests. I had thought we might have up to 5, but I don’t think it would have worked well for that many. The kitchen pots and pans are very small and most of the dishes and mugs do not say microwaveable and blankets are at a minimum. In spite of these things I would stay there again. ##### Elizabeth S. We traveled with 5 children between the ages of 5-8\. I know, what were we thinking? Having stayed at this resort last year and seeing all of the amenities that are offered, it was clear that we had to come back but really REQUIRED a unit on the first floor. My grandson has autism and safely and accessibility are incredibly important. The unit was well kept and provided a lot of essentials needed during the trip. It was incredibly helpful that the listing mentioned a beach wagon that we could use. It came in handy to haul our stuff and my grandson to the beach. The unit is right between the beach and indoor pool so there isn't a ton of walking. Just outside the A building is an outdoor pool area that has THE BEST fenced in separate kiddie pool area. Although my grandson is nonverbal, it was obvious this was his favorite part of the trip. I wish we had something like this locally. He had fun and I actually got to relax a bit since the area was separated from the larger pools. All of the kids enjoyed the beach and the indoor pool area. We didn't use the playground this trip since it was kinda busy, but it is fenced in also as long as everyone shuts the gates. It was also fantastic that the balcony railing was taller than some other railings that I have seen and we were able to enjoy the use of it also without any safely concerns. The pool was beautiful but always very busy and hard to find seats. Beach was perfect, bought our own Beach chairs, ones that were there were very low., My only real complaint was that there were not enough towels, we were given one each for 4 days, and no Beach towels, had to buy those as well. Loved being so close to the beach to have a long walk each day. So many activities within the resort to pass the time. Our host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly with any questions. The only thing I would recommend would be to have a dresser put into the 2nd bedroom or shelving un the closet.
