It was a deal comparable to other locations. The room was super clean. The buildings towel or sheet replacement process was nice as you could go to the lobby with your used towels to get fresh towels. The pool was always clean. The hot tub consistently had sand all over the bottom. The elevators were fast. Parking was a pain with not many spots open without going to the underground garage or across the street to the overflow lot. The check in was more like a hotel than a regular condo rental. This was our first time in Myrtle Beach so I didn’t know what were the good areas or places to stay . We have used VRBO a few times and we always have been really happy but this time we weren’t happy at all. To start the “Resort” should not ever be called that . The room need so much update , when we first walked in the smell of the room was horrible, the cleanliness left so much to desire the floors looked dirty probably because they look so old so was bathroom floor . I would not walk in that floor without shoes . I have stayed on properties with the “super host” status and they always have something special to show the appreciation for us choosing their property, but nothing on this one . The little balcony had the most disgusting carpet that also smell. . The elevators floors were always wet and duty. I did not like the atmosphere of the place.
