In the second bedroom our guests will find a sofa bed as well, where one more guest can be accommodated. A baby cot and/or high chair can also be provided upon request. Villa Sylvia is conveniently located just a short drive away from restaurants, shops and beautiful beaches. This amazing Villa is also close to a number of sightseeing areas, as well as to a number of charming little traditional villages, just waiting to be explored. It is a perfect family holiday home, suitable for families or groups of friends! Villa Irene locates in the center of the island of Crete, where our guests can explore a plethora of sightseeings and paradise places around the island. External Living | Pool & BBQ The relaxing outdoor area covers 500 sq. m. and features a spacious terrace, tile covered pool terrace, boosting a private swimming pool (30 sq. m. and 1,40 m deep), as well as an outdoor shower. The terrace is filled by lawn covered areas, trees and beautiful flowers and the stone walls secure your privacy and offer you peace of mind! A lovely garden swing and children’s toys are also available! Guests can also relax in the sun loungers or enjoy a glass of cold orange juice and the shade of umbrellas, surrounding the pool. Additionally, built-in barbecue facilities and an outdoor sink with cold and hot water are also provided, ideal for al fresco dining! At the outdoors dining veranda area, you can enjoy your meals calming by the mountain, pool and garden view. Internal Living | Bedrooms & Bathrooms Villa Sylvia expands in 80 sq. m., divided in two levels. On the ground floor guests may find the spacious living room with a beautiful modern fire place and the fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary such as oven, a refrigerator, a kettle,a coffee-maker, dishwasher, juice maker, a microwave, a toaster and a full set of cutlery, cooking utensils and glassware to prepare your own meal. Proche des plages (10 min de voiture).Route passante et bruyante mais qu'on oublie très vite.D'avantage de matériel de cuisine aurait été apprécié (Couteaux de cuisine, épluche légumes, plats, ...)La climatisation est appréciable, l'espace repas extérieur couvert également. Celui-ci est fermé par un portillon assurant une sécurité supplémentaire des enfants vis à vis de la piscine.Les parents d'Eirini bien que ne parlant que grec nous ont offert un accueil particulièrement chaleureux plein de petites attentions (Repas à l'arrivée, pâtisseries traditionnelles).Nous ne regrettons pas notre choix pour nos vacances. ##### Arnaud G. Séjour de 7 nuits en octobre 2019 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Wim S. 29 sept. 2025 Points forts : Propreté Wij hebben in september een fantastische vakantie van twee weken gehad in deze prachtige villa. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien. Goed uitgeruste keuken, heerlijk zwembad en uitstekende ligstoelen. Bedden zijn prima. Douche erg klein. Overal horren en rolluiken. Het zwembad werd tenminste tweemaal per week schoongemaakt en lag bijna de hele dag in de zon. Handdoeken en beddengoed werden na een week vervangen. De schoonmaak was redelijk. We hadden geen last van de buren. Airconditioning werkte uitstekend. De afstand naar leuke plaatsen als Heraklion, Rethymno, Chania, Imbros Kloof, Preveli etc, was prima te doen.De ouders van Eirini hebben ons enthousiast ontvangen met heerlijke lokale gerechten. De communicatie ging met handen en voeten omdat zij alleen Grieks spreken. Maar via Eirini ging dat in het Engels prima. Al met al hebben we hier genoten!Twee minpuntjes: de villa ligt aan een drukke verkeersweg en daar kun je last van hebben; de zitbanken binnen zijn niet erg comfortabel en het zitgedeelte is niet zo gezellig ingericht. Dat komt ook door het ongezellige licht. Gelukkig zit je meestal buiten! ##### Wim S. Séjour de 14 nuits en septembre 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Mariola M. 15 juin 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Angenehmer Urlaub mit herzlichen Gastgebern Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Urlaub in der Villa Sylvia. Die Gastgebern Eirin ist sehr herzlich und bemüht. Es gab regen Kontakt über Whats App. Sie hat mehrfach nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und vorab sehr viele Informationen gegeben. Vor Ort wurden wir von Eirinis Eltern in Empfang genommen, die weder Deutsch noch Englisch sprechen, aber auch sehr herzlich sind und uns alles gezeigt haben. Wir wurden sogar willkommen geheißen mit einem Nationalgericht und einigen Lebensmitteln im Kühlschrank (Wasser, Saft und Eier). Zwischendrin bekamen wir nochmal ein Dessert gebracht. So eine Gastfreundlichkeit haben wir woanders noch nie erlebt.Die Lage der Villa ist recht zentral, sie liegt jedoch direkt an einer recht stark befahrenen Straße. Trotz großem Zaun ist es daher nicht absolut ruhig. Die Grillen haben aber stark dagegen gehalten :-)Die Ausstattung der Villa ist gut. Der Außenbereich ist traumhaft schön, es werden sogar Badetücher für die Liegen bereit gestellt. Der Pool wird mehrmals täglich (mindestens drei Mal, haben wir beobachtet) gereinigt. Selten stimmen Prospekt und Wirklichkeit so überein wie hier. Das Haus ist modern, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das gesamte Grundstück ist in einem hervorragenden Pflegezustand und wird von den Eltern der Eigentümerin liebevoll gepflegt. ##### Kenneth R. Die Unterstützung bei Anliegen wurde sofort umgesetzt. Auch die griechische Gastfreundschaft wussten wir zu schätzen, bei jedem Besuch und bei der Ankunft haben wir Essen vorgefunden, dass liebevoll und traditionell zubereitet wurde. Sehr empfehlenswerte Gastgeber. Das Objekt selbst war in einem sehr sauberen Zustand und alles war in Ordnung. Die Lage der Villa war in Ordnung, mit dem Mietwagen war man innerhalb 20 Min in Rythmno. Alles in allem hatten wir einen super Aufenthalt mit unserem einjährigen Sohn, dem es an nichts gefehlt hat. ##### Christian W. Empfangen wurden wir von den sehr netten Vermietern mit einem griechischen Auflauf (Pastizio) und Raki. Die Vermieter waren zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Villa ist sauber und komfortable eingerichtet. Der Pool in einem sehr schönen Garten eingebettet. Supermärkte und Strände sind ganz in der Nähe man braucht aber ein Auto. Die Zimmer hatten einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Berge und Olivenhain. Wir können die Villa wirklich empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. ##### Ina L. Dimitry and Lula made us feel very welcome. They brought us food every time they came. After a 5 minute drive was the village of Panormo. It has a few cafés and tavernas by the sea. There is a lovely harbour wall and small beaches. We enjoyed a day in Rethymno but kept coming back to Panormo. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to relax. ##### Steve G. The accommodation was beautifully appointed with all the comforts of home, close to all local amenities and beaches it is a wonderful holiday destination. The owners of the property were attentive, meeting us on our arrival well after midnight and provided us with a lovely home cooked supper of stuffed vegetables, a local speciality. Their hospitality extended to supplying my son with homemade biscuits, and fruit and tomatoes from the garden. The accommodation was cleaned three times during our stay each time fresh bedding and towels were provided including towels poolside towels. The owner also cleaned the pool every other day! We would strongly recommend Villa Sylvia as a holiday destination for families of all ages. ##### Annette S. Lækkert hus - rent og pænt og med alt hvad vi skulle bruge. Dejlig pool - ren og indbydende i sommervarmen. Fantastisk have med grill, rutchebane til vores datter, friske tomater og krydderurter lige til at plukke, og en dejlig udendørs bruser. Vores ophold blev beriget af vores skønne værter, der altid var klar til at hjælpe. Villa Sylvia er perfekt placeret med en betagende udsigt og med nem adgang til spændende seværdigheder, strande og indkøbsmuligheder. Villaen dannede rammen om to skønne uger på smukke Kreta. ##### Martin M. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners who had also prepared a traditional meal for us on arrival which was delicious. The owners were all ways available to answer any questions we had. The villa is surrounded by olive groves and mountains in the distance which makes for glorious sun rise/sets. Would definitely recommend a car although panormos is only a 2 min drive which is very pretty especially at night when all the traditional tavernas spill out into the cobbled streets.
