Villa Rosso Karrubo is the ideal choise for your holidays!  
It is the best choice for large groups or for 3-4 friendly families! The villa has private pool , and it is 5 minutes away by car from Perama city, where guests can find super markets tavernas a cafe as well as a bakery. The sandy beaches of Panormo are just 10 minutes away from the villa by car.We promise the stay in our resort to be an unforgettable experience satisfactory even for the most demanding travellers. Our villa offering breathtaking panoramic views of the green Cretan hill as well as the Mediterranean sea!  
  
The villa is a two story building in the total of 340 sq. meters and it can accommodate 16 people in beds in 6 bedrooms. Staying in our villa offers you the advantage of having vacations with friends and having your private place for you and your own family!  
  
Layout of the villa:  
  
The villa is separated into four independent parts. The first two parts are the two main houses (120 sq.m each), they have two floors with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two kitchens each and the other two parts are the two apartments (50 sq.m each) with one bedroom, one bathroom and a kitchen each on the lower level which have independent entrance from the garden. Each part contains a big living room area with a dining table, that means that you will stay in a villa with 4 living rooms, 4 kitchens, 4 dining areas, 6 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms, having enough space and facilities for everyone!  
  
All parts are fully equipped and independent from each other and they can only be booked as one villa, offering an advantage of more privacy between a group of friends or families.  
  
Entering the two main houses (two first parts), each contains: on the ground floor there is a spacious open plan area which consisting of the living room with a fireplace, a satellite HDTV, the indoor dining area, one small office desk, one WC and two fully equipped kitchens of top quality fixtures and appliances.  
The living room area has direct access to the main balconies where you can find an outdoor big dining table.  
  
Reaching to the first floor from the stairs: there are two bedrooms in each house, one with double bed and the other one with two single beds. Each bedroom have air condition, smart TV and access to balcony with a small coffee table. Between these two bedrooms there is the main bathroom with bath and shower.  
  
Finally on the level of the garden and the pool, you will find the other two independent (parts) apartments which have one bedroom with double bed each, one bathroom with shower each and an open plan area with a fully equipped kitchen, a sofa-bed with HDTV and an indoor dining table each. The apartments have direct access to the garden-pool area.  
  
The villa is located in a private land of 2,000 sq.m on the outskirts of Keramota village, 14 km away from the well known beaches of Panormo village.  
  
The exact location of the villa which is actually on a hill overlooking the small village, offers to our guests the advantages of full privacy in all the outdoor areas, unique panoramic views from the surrounding area till the sea and total quietness!  
  
Outdoors there is almost 1,000 square meters organised fenced area with many facilities and spots for relaxing, unique beautifully landscaped aromatic herbs, flowers and trees!  
  
More specifically in the outdoor area you will find a sitting area on the veranda, an organised barbecue area with dining table under a pergola, a 70 sq.m private swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas which also contains a children’s pool, a fenced parking area for many cars and enough space covered with grasses in order for young children to play with safety.  
  
Totally isolated but close to living areas, our villa offers full privacy and quietness to our guests!  
  
The villa has been constructed with care, combining modern and traditional features in order to offer the guest the utmost of luxury and comfort in a warm and homely atmosphere.  
  
Moreover, the villa is properly equipped to accomodate people with special needs. Our philosophy primarly focuses on ensuring the experience of relaxation in an exquisite private villa for every of our guests.

The villa is located on a hill overlooking the small village of Keramota which is 14 km away from the closest sandy beaches in Panormo area and 8 km from Perama town where you can find everything that you might need like shops, taverns and supermarkets.The whole surrounding area is in a quiet natural environment and even though the living areas are close, you can feel "away from it all"!In Keramota village there are two small but great taverns which you can reach on foot.The location is giving you the advantage of staying in one of the most traditional areas of Crete where people are still growing up with the traditional values and the real traditions! Take advantage of the location and explore the nearby villages of Melidoni, Margarites, Eleftherna, Zoniana and Anogeia where you can interact with real Cretan people and feel the Cretan hospitality in the highest level.  
Around those villages you will also be able to see some unique sightseeing spots like the Idaion Andro cave where the Zeus was born according to Greek Mythology, the Zoniana village museum with candle statues and the cave "Sfendoni", the well known cave of Melidoni, the traditional pottery shops in Margarites.

#### Un voyage de rêve

Nous cherchions une villa sur l'Ile de Crète avec suffisamment d'espace pour loger les gens de notre groupe (famille) tout en nous assurant suffisamment d'intimité. C'est ce que nous avons trouvé à cet endroit magnifique. 4 unités (deux de 2 chambres et 2 de 1 chambre) bien équipées. Nous voulions aussi la tranquillité, une piscine et un espace de vie extérieur bien aménagé. Tout y était! Tout d'abord, vous avez besoin d'une voiture (ou plusieurs) pour vous installer là. La villa est très bien située, environ 65 minutes (70 KM) de l'aéroport de Heraklion. Les derniers 15 km sont dans des petites routes de campagne. Bel accueil de Irini à l'arrivée. La villa et les unités sont très propres, lumineuses, bien équipés et l'environnement est bien entretenu. Bon BBQ et table pour accommoder un grand groupe à l'extérieur. C'est la vraie nature, la vraie campagne. On entend le chant du coq, les chèvres, les cigales et les chiens. On aperçoit la mer à l'horizon. Le petit village de Perama, à 10-12 minutes de la villa en voiture, est l'endroit où on trouve de tout: les marchés, boulangers, poissonniers, bouchers et restos. Il y a des plages à proximité, à plus ou moins 20 minutes. Nous avons exploré les environs et sommes allés au sud de l'Ile ainsi qu'à l'extrémité ouest. Avons vu des sites archéologiques, plages, grottes, monastères, oliveraies et vignobles, avons fait les routes a travers des gorges, des villages et en haut de falaises. Nous avons passé 12 jours en août à la villa et serions restés encore plus longtemps. Avons très bien mangé tant dans les tavernes que dans les restaurants. Il y a définitivement beaucoup a faire et à voir sur l'ile de crête si vous cherchez l'aventure. La villa est aussi un oasis de paix si vous cherchez le repos. Ma famille et moi avons beaucoup apprécié l'endroit et recommandons sans hésitation la Villa Rosso Karrubo.

#### The place to discover for happy holidays

If you are looking for holidays off the beaten track and far from crowded places, go to Villa Rosso Karrubo ! You will meet a very nice family : Irini, her husband and her father (and Winston the dog). Irini welcomed us with very good local dishes and helped us a lot in organising activities. Efkaristo Irini ! The house is well equipped, perfectly clean with a fantastic view. We spent two wonderful weeks with friends enjoying the pool and visiting Creta, such a nice island We had a nice dinner at Manolis in the small village of Keramota where people are very friendly. Our 2018 summer holidays will remain for long in our memory

#### Wonderful

We were 15 people that lived in this wonderful house. 8 adults and 7 children from the age of 5 til 17. Irini was so helpful with all our questions. Yes, the house is a bit from beaches and cities but this is what we loved the most about the house. The calm, the beautiful view and sunsets. And it doesn't take long to go to the beaches, but you definitely need a car. I thought the children would get bored, but they all loved it! There is plenty of things for them to do in this house. It is so good that the house is divided into 4 seperate apartments. We definitely want to come back! Thank you Irini (and your family)!

A wonderfull house and wonderfull host..Perfect for a family vacation with small children..The view to the mountai s,lots a thing to play with,table tennis,basket,the pool..The house was so good lot of space..We have the host and her family to make greek food for us,a wonderfull meal..and we have ordred 1 hour a yoga..so good

#### Affengeiler Gruppenurlaub

Bestimmt für Familien auch super, aber für uns als Gruppe von Freunden war es das perfekte Objekt. Abends konnte man sich schön draußen an den großen Tisch am Pool setzen und den Abend gemeinsam ausklingen lassen. Der Pool war auch perfekt um den Nachmittag dran zu verbringen. Dadurch dass die Villa etwas abgelegener ist, kann man auch am Abend mal etwas lauter Party machen ohne das sich wer beschwert. Die Lage auf Kreta ermöglicht es einem auch per Mietauto jeden Tag einen Daytrip zu machen. Zum Beispiel die Altstadt von Rethymno kann ich empfehlen oder auch eine Wandertour auf Kretas Höchsten Berg, den Psiloritis. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern vor Ort lief auch problemlos und sehr einfach ab. Große Empfehlung!

#### Great villa with separate apartments in secluded location

Very secluded location. Villa worked well for us as a party of 16 as it is laid out as 4 separate apartments. Villa owner very helpful and allowed us to set up a communal kitchen. During our stay the owner responded promptly to any request e.g. repair of basketball hoop for the kids! Plenty of supermarkets in nearby Perama. Good beaches within 20-30 minutes drive. Would recommend at least a day in Rethymno - water sports and Old Town.

#### Very pleassant stay on Crete

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in Villa Rosso Karrubo. We waren er met 6 volwassenen en 2 kleine kinderen. De gastvrijheid en behulpzaamheid van de eigenaar (en vader) was grandioos! Mooie villa met mooi zwembad; alles bouwjaar 2014, dus nagenoeg nieuw. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien en opgedeeld in 4 afzonderlijke woonruimten. Rustig gelegen in mooie omgeving. Je hebt er wel een (huur)auto nodig gezien winkels van enige omvang op zo'n 10/15 minuten rijden is en de wegen naar het naastgelegen dorpje niet echt geschikt zijn om te lopen. We hebben een storm meegemaakt op 4 oktober. Het kan er wel spoken met slecht weer. Lekker uitgerust, helaas zit het er al weer op...! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. De Grieken zijn sowieso gastvrij. Eten in de buurt is goed en betaalbaar. Probeer zeker de lokale eetgelegenheden uit!

#### Wonderful hosts Irini & Rocco - Great property for large groups- Beautiful views & location !

Great property for large families / groups, with wonderful space, pool & sun set views. Hosts Irini & Rocco (family) are extremely warm & welcoming :)) They were always available with any questions we had & great in offering handy tips & suggestions on places to visit / services; plus with additional touches of 'Welcome' local foods upon arrival & morning deliveries of fresh figs from the garden - perfect :)) We had a couple of birthday celebrations in our group and we would also recommend their delicious Cretan Traditional Menu meal that they cook at the property for your group, which also made our stay special & memorable for all. Thank You ! Iirni & family for your lovely villa & hospitality .

#### Great break in Crete

This is a really good house and pool. Its well laid out with balconies and the pool is amazing. Air conditioned which is good in the summer. Everything you could want. Irini is so welcoming and gave us a lovely platter of food on arrival. Its cleaned regularly too. You really need a car to see the sights in Crete if you stay here as its a drive to the supermarket and the tourist sites. Highly recommend if you want to get away from it all.

#### Great place to spendera your holiday

We were four adults and two kids (3&4 years old) staying two weeks at the house. First night we came relatively late and then Irini had prepared things for is to eat plus bought breakfast things. Both she and her husband were really nice and helpful. The house itself was really nice with two separate apartments which was great for us since we were six in total. The pool was great and it was also good with a child section in the pool. It lays a little bit away from the bigger cities and beaches but with a rental car that’s not an issue. I would really recommend a stay here.

#### Great family holiday

We had a great time at the Villa, an out of the way location and facilitated by Irini and her family. They were incredibly helpful and we can recommend the meal they cooked for us on the last night! We also recommend spending time watching the daytime visitors (swallows) and the night-time visitors (bats) swooping in to steal a drink from the pool. The villa was clean, well-equipped and the pool was great. The mountain village location had a good soundtrack too - crickets, goats. The wildlife around was a real bonus. Owls, vulture formation in addition to the other visitors. Highly recommended, and we intend to plan a return visit at a different time of year.

#### Rural Retreat

Experienced rural Crete with the sounds of goats, sheep, cockerels and barking dogs! Local villages are devoid of tourists and the Taverna's are cheap. Try Mantalos in Margarites and Vasiliko Pigadi in Melidoni for good basic Cretan food. also try the Pizza at Opaka in Perama and the coffee next door. Beautiful views from the villa to the sea and mountains behind. Villa well provided with a wonderful welcomed lunch. We recommend.

Amazing place with the most amazing view and pool area. Very sweet owners that were very helpfull - they even took the time to get us some local tomatoes, cake and cheese! We really loved this place and we will book this Villa again for sure! ☀️
