Dimokritos Villas is a complex of six Villas - each of them with separate facilities and private pools - beautifully appointed in the Cretan country side, offering magnificent views of the surrounding area, the nearby hills, as well as the sea at the horizon.   
  
Dimokritos Villas are just 3 km away from the picturesque settlement and the sandy, organised beaches of Geropotamos, ideal for family holidays! Also, a selection of cafes, tavernas, gift shops, mini markets and ATM machine are available in Panormo. Also, for those who enjoy hiking there is a country path of 1,5 km leading to Panormos, but it’s advisable to cross it only by day.  
  
Layout  
Dimokritos Villa IV is a 100 m2 Villa, consisted of two levels, which can accommodate up to 8 guests in it’s 3 bedrooms. The Villa is tastefully decorated with furniture of modern design, chosen carefully in order to make your self-catered vacation as easy and comfortable as possible!   
  
Ground Floor  
As you enter the Villa you will find yourselves in a lovely open-plan space, featuring the living room with two cosy sofas, where two guests can be accommodated. The fully equipped kitchen with a dining area is right next to the living room, so the whole family can spend some time together, while relaxing or preparing your meals! Both the living room and kitchen areas offer direct access to the shaded veranda, swimming pool and lawn covered terrace. Additionally, one of the Villa’s bedrooms, boosting a double, is located on the ground floor, along with a family bathroom with a shower.  
  
First Floor  
A few steps above, the remaining two bedrooms of Dimokritos Villa IV can be found, each one with two single beds. In one of the bedrooms the two beds can also be used as a double bed. All bedrooms and the living room are air-conditioned and are airy and sunny all day long. Both bedrooms open up to a large veranda equipped with patio furniture, overlooking the pool terrace and enjoying amazing sunset views. Finally, a family bathroom with shower cabin/ hamam is also located on this floor.  
  
Exterior  
Moving outdoors, a magnificent 200m2 outdoor area welcomes you and invites you to to indulge in the summer breeze, hot sun and enjoy the pleasures of summer, under the clear blue skies! The private swimming pool 1.5 meters deep has a special compartment for kids 0.4 meters deep and it is 35m2 in total and it’s equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, so you can spend as many hours as you wish out in the open! For your outmost convenience, the children pool’s compartment also provides hydromassage facilities (not heated). Additionally, the outdoor BBQ facilities and the dining and sitting area, will tempt you to try your cooking skills and al fresco dining! To make things even better, our young guests will love the large lawn covered area with a garden hammock, keeping them busy and happy!

Cooking utensils and first aid kit also provided.  
\- Air conditioning units serve heating purposes.  
\- 24h/7days ThinkVilla concierge service included.  
\-Pool operates seasonally (end of March - middle of November)  
  
Dimokritos Villas are located close to the village of Aggeliana, 5 minutes away by car, where guests can find a super markets taverna a cafe as well as a bakery. The sandy beaches of Geropotamos are just 5 minutes away from the villa by car.  
  
Panormo, is a friendly sea side village, just 10 minutes away by car and well known for its sandy beaches. The two main beaches are Limanaki and Limni. Both of them are sandy with clear blue water and ideal for kids, as they are shallow and well protected from winds. The beaches are organised and equipped with sun beds & umbrellas. Water sports are also available. The harbour beach in front of the village is the port of the area, where the boats tie up, this beach is unorganised.  
  
The village has all the facilities and amenities one would need : well-stocked mini-markets, post office, pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a butcher's shop, bakery (hot, fresh bread every morning from 9 am), various gift shops and traditional seaside shops at very reasonable prices.  
  
Further, there is a good selection of cafes and excellent traditional tavernas, overlooking the harbour and the sea, which offer a warm welcome and a beautiful setting to enjoy some traditional Cretan food, fish as well as international dishes.  
  
Panormo has regular bus itineraries every 30 minutes that connects Heraklion and Chania cities.

#### Magnifique séjour, tout était PARFAIT!

La maison est impeccable, magnifique, tant au niveau de l'intérieur que de l'extérieur! L'accueil a été chaleureux et parfait! Nous remercions Emanuel pour sa générosité et son aide.

#### Herrlich ruhig - fast perfekt

Sehr abgelegen, aber kurzer Weg mit dem Auto zum Meer (ohne Mietwagen geht nix); sehr ruhig - abgesehen von den Ziegen und Schafen, die man auch nachts klar und deutlich hört; Objekt ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber gepflegt und sauber; das Tor könnte eine Reparatur gebrauchen (wir mussten aufgrund des starken Windes einen Koffergurt benutzen, um uns vor einem weiteren Besuch der Schafe zu schützen ;)

#### Wonderful stay in a beautiful setting

Everything was as described and we had a lovely relaxing stay. The location was remote but we knew this from the listing and it was what we were looking for. Short car journey to beaches and shops. We would recommend to others.

#### Alles bestens

Hatten eine schöne Woche mit Freunden. Popi war eine nette Gastgeberin. Strand ist schnell zu erreichen, nur die "schöneren" Städte sind weiter entfernt. Die Villa war sauber, wenn man von ein paar kleinen, tierischen Besuchern in der Dusche absieht. Ansonsten findet man dort Ruhe und Erholung in toller Kulisse!

#### Schöne Villa

Die Kommunikation mit der Vermietung war einwandfrei. Die Villa ist etwas abgelegen. Ein Mietwagen ist ein Muss. Sehr sauber und der Pool wird regelmäßig gereinigt.

It was a wonderful stay. The property is a short drive from many nice beaches and up in the hills so quite isolated but was the perfect get away for us all. The house itself is wonderful and the garden and pool area is a nice size where you can easily find sun/shade depending on your mood. All in all, a wonderful place to stay.

#### Sehr schöne Anlage, tolles Haus

Sehr gepflegte, sauberes Haus mit jeweils eigenen Pool und Parkplatz. Schön und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind äußerst freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Zusammenfassung: wir waren so zufrieden, dass wir in jedem Fall wieder kommen.

#### Schön ruhig

Das Haus und der Pool haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wenn es Fragen oder Probleme gab, dann wurde es sofort gelöst. Es ist eine himmlische Ruhe dort ( ausser ein paar Schafe in der Nähe). Wir würden immer gerne wieder kommen. Vielen lieben Dank an Popi und Manolis.

We loved our 4 week stay at this Villa, it was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, well maintained, well equipped, well presented had stunning views. The owners were superb, lovely people and most helpful. Lots to do, places to visit, lovely restaurants. and beaches. We certainly will return and will use the new restaurant that is going to be on site.
