The hotel is beautiful with amazing views of the sea. We were greeted with a welcome drink and the staff took care of the check in while we relaxed. The food was great, including the great service at the beach. The manager and staff were outstanding! We would stay again!

This is a great hotel. Facilities at the beach are private and excellent service. The bathtub needs a little bit more safety around, it is slippery.

I had an excellent experience at Mykonos Blu. There’s not one thing that you could dislike about this hotel. The staff were all wonderfully helpful, friendly, and the scenery is absolutely stunning. One of the best locations to stay in Mykonos, on the beach, next to Nammos, close to town, easy access to everywhere else. Ask for the guest service manager Maria, she is extremely kind and will help you with anything you need (reservations, car service arrangements etc). Konstantin from the beach restaurant was another staff member that made sure my family’s stay was nothing but the best. Exceptional Hotel!! Can't wait to go back.

Overall a great stay! Can’t beat the views and the location. The restaurant / bar were amazing and the pool was absolutely stunning. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. We had some issues with the hot water in our room but otherwise absolutely wonderful. I do wish the hotel had better signage around the property and had a hot tub for cooler nights but otherwise the perfect place to for a relaxing vacation.

We’re do I start this hotel is not 5* more like 2/3*. The housekeeping is shocking they do nothing apart from make your bed . No mopping , no sweeping especially to say we still have high covid cases this property is not putting any safety measures in place at all . The rooms are extremely dated and look nothing like the photos , the Air conditioning doesn’t work . Staff are so rude and make you feel like your an inconvenience which should not be the case . 18 sun beds in the whole hotel, people Having to Lay on the floor , not acceptable in an 5* hotel . General manager abrupt , rude and should not run a property , I raised my concerns to the assistant manger while having our stay all they made me feel extremely uncomfortable while I was at dinner they stood and stared at me which is unprofessional, strange and very of putting . We were not the only ones to complain this property is not a 5* at all . We booked this property to be wowed and have a personal touch and we was extremely disappointed and unhappy . Management feel a free meal voucher is acceptable when anyone complains. I don’t want anything for nothing by all means but gratitude sympathy and attempt to put all the issues right would be a good start . Very very unhappy customer

Your review contains misleading information and facts. Our repeaters and our guests know the true magic of our resort and what is all about our services and our people. Please allow us to go through your comments: In your feedback you mention that we are not putting any safety measures in place. This is inaccurate and misleading. Grecotel is the first hotel chain that launched the health & safety-first campaign since 2020. Grecotel Mykonos Blu follows the hygiene protocols in all our common areas and our rooms. At the resort we have 20 disinfection points (free masks, antiseptic gel). Upon arrival there is temperature control for all our guests and staff members, we offer hygiene wipes for your hands and we explain carefully the health and safety measures that taking place in our resort. Your room has been cleaned and disinfected with Diversey Eco friendly cleaning products by our experienced housekeeping team. Furthermore, in every hotel of our chain such as Mykonos Blu we have a dedicated Covid 19 ambassador that assist our guest and our staff to follow precise the strict measures. All the members of our team have been vaccinated, we wear masks at all times, and we proceed to a temperature control every day before we start our shift. The result of these measures is that we haven’t had any case between our guests or our people. Finally, all the above information can be found on your reservation and on our website. Moreover, Mykonos Blu follows is certified for Haccp, ISO and holds the gold Green Key award. Therefore, your comment that we do not have Covid-19 measures in place is misleading. Regarding your room, Grecotel Mykonos Blu has 19 different room categories that can satisfy all our guests. Your chosen room is one of our most wanted room type. We do understand that the design and layout of our hotel as well as the rooms are unique and they may not appeal to everyone. We respect your opinion and we feel sorry that you didn’t enjoyed the Cycladic style of our rooms. Regarding your comments about the cleanliness of your room, upon your request the housekeeping manager, the assistant and a housekeeper made sure that your room was up to our standards daily. Thus, your comments for not cleaning your room are inaccurate. During your stay we received several complaints from our dear guests for your behavior in many occasions at the hotel. Such the one that you demanded from our dear guests, a family with a child, to be moved as you preferred a specific set of sunbeds that they were using. The guests in order to avoid trouble left disappointed from the swimming pool. In your feedback you mention the words of sympathy and gratitude, but your actions declare the opposite. The view and location was nice. But everything else was the worst experience one can have. Upon our arrival they forgot to send a car after us even though we confirmed the night before. We waited for one hour to be picked up. They called half an hour after our arrival at the terminal to say a car is on the way. 45 mins later we just realized that they are lying to us and no one is coming. We got a cab after wasting 1 hour waiting for the ride they were sending. The common area and the pool was nice. The location was nice and central. But I can not explain what a horrible room was assigned to us. One of the worst experiences of my life. The shower was covered with mold all around the tub. No ventilation. There were bugs in our bed and on the floor two night in a row. The sheets had holes in them. There was dust on all corners and old paint and new paint was just brushed on top of eachother and peeling off. All the furniture was old and almost broken. When we complained they said it is Greek style. WTH. They promised to change our room on the 2nd day due to all the issues. But then they said that they called us and we didn’t pick up so they sold to someone else. This is definitely not what u expect when u spend $1000 a night. Unreal!!! Horrible…

Mykonos blu grecotel resort was simply magical, me and my husband enjoyed our honeymoon staying there. Beautiful room, beautiful views, and the beach was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very helpful and kind especially Sophia! Thank you for being so nice. My favorite part was everything about the resort but especially the breakfast! So delicious and the presentation was on point. I wish we could’ve stayed so much longer! Thank you to everyone at the resort, you guys made our honeymoon lovely.

We enjoyed our 2-week break in Mykonos Blu. However, the hotel had so much more potential. We would recommend that instead of having too many people helping out at breakfast which actually is disturbing as multiple times our plates were taken away while still eating or they were trying to pour orange juice after each sip, have some of them on the beach in the morning preparing the chairs, brushing off the sand and drying the cushions, and being available for the first guests to provide towels just as the neighbouring hotels..Also, instead of having 2 people stand talking by the stairs on the beach in the afternoon when people are going back up, have them help the families or elderly with carrying their belongings up. For example i had to carry my baby, his chair, and a beach bag upstairs and they just greeted me and said have a nice day when i was struggling and they were chatting away. We had a sea view bungalow which had a great size terrace, however the bed is pushed against the wall so you can’t even walk around them and there is no headboard but instead some cushions are hung up against the wall. Unfortunately for us we didnt find this up to 5 star standards but easy to fix as the rooms are big enough. Also, room service was extermely poor. We had to wait 5 minutes on the phone each time to get through to the reception. The positives of this hotel are its location, great beach with beautiful turquoise water, the sunbeds, the restaurants closeby, the breaKfast area.

Lobby, Beach/location and Breakfast were 5 stars…but lack of customer service, friendliness, cleanliness, and staff initiation was very poor for a 5 star hotel, more like a 3. There were never towels available by the pool, never any drink or food service available by pool or beach, no trash cans anywhere, not a staff person in sight for any concerns, staff would walk by dirty glasses/trash/used towels on unattended chairs without picking it up, etc. Also, the bathroom/shower in our room reminded me of a campground shower, NOT a 5 star resort, old and extremely worn. Needs a lot of work to be back where it seems they once were.

Great Mykonos’ experience
Pros: Amazing location, incredible beach, food was delicious, service was fast and friendly and view from the hotel lobby and main restaurant are outstanding. It is more gorgeous than the hotel pictures might suggest, I would definitely recommend the stay at Blu Grecotel. Only improvement for management, please consider to have one pool heated at least so children can enjoy. It was colder than the sea temperature.

The staff was very forthcoming and friendly - both in the service, reception and beach. The communication via what’s app is a simple but great idea. The beach area is really nice and it’s a hotel for families. Having said that the food is average - the breakfast is OK but not more (seen much better in Greece), the restaurant is ok as well but lacks a decent seafood choice which should be a given in Greece (for some reason the fish of the day was never available - maybe due to Covid but still weird). The rooms are clean but clearly the hotel could use some improvements to account for the age. We enjoyed the break in Mykonos with the family and would give it another chance after Covid.

Disappointing...
The resort has a beautiful pool and private beach with poolside and beachside service. The location is nice and everyone who worked at the hotel provided good, friendly service and tried their best to accommodate us. Unfortunately, the rooms are a bit dirty and dated. The first room we were in had a leak from the air conditioning unit that rendered the room unlivable. The phone needed to be replaced, along with the patio light, and the room was missing a nightstand. We spent two nights in this room and were finally upgraded to a nicer room for the end of our stay... Regardless of which room we were in, there was a sewage stench that permeated through the room anytime we flushed the toilet. I am not sure if this is normal on the island of Mykonos or the hotel needs to update its plumbing... I suppose I expected the cleanliness and service comparable to a Ritz Carlton from the photos and reviews. I was disappointed.
