"I had the most incredible stay at Windermere House Resort, which truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The resort’s grounds are absolutely breathtaking—lush gardens, and stunning lake views that make you feel like you're in paradise. The accommodations were luxurious, with every detail thoughtfully designed for comfort. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a private balcony where we could relax and watch the sunset each evening. The bed was so comfortable that I slept like a dream every night! "Very great place to stay. Close to bala, on a nice inlet of lake muskoka. Tom is very easy to deal with and communicate with. Highly recommend! "

"The best compliment t that I can pay is that Doug and Kim made it feel like I was staying with friends. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and to make things available that would make my stay enjoyable. The rooms are stunning as is the view. I visited the local winery, did a cranberry plunge, went kayaking on the moon river right in front of the inn - they supplied the kayak at no cost. The town is delightful and steps away from the In. So you can take a walk and enjoy the lake, the river, the falls, a few cute boutiques and a couple of restaurants. If you go during the Cranberry Festival (I didn’t) the population of roughly 800 swells to over 20,000 for the weekend with music, food and shopping vendors and lots more walkable from the Inn. I would definitely go again. "

"We had a great experience during our recent stay at Port Carling House!! Unique and very friendly atmosphere! Super clean!! Cool gathering area around the indoor bar and nice decks. Would definitely stay there again. But would stay longer, we only needed it for one night. Highly recommend....you won't be disappointed!"

"A beautiful INN in Port Carling on Lake Joseph literally minutes from town. Surrounded by trees and walking trails. Quiet and a beautiful time of year to see all the Fall colours. Highly recommend!"

"Great location on Three Mike Lake. Newly renovated, very clean 3 bedroom cottage. Great location close to Port Carling and Bracebridge. Would definitely return. The only improvement that could be made is more clothes hooks as there is not a lot of closet space, as the bedrooms are typically small for this type of cottage. Thank you Holly for being a great host and responding quickly whenever I reached out to you."
