We showed up just after 3pm to find the cleaning lady still at the house. We waited a few minutes before walking up to let her know we were checking in, to which she was very rude and said check-in is normally not until 4pm and she wasn't done yet. I sent a message to Joe and he said he'd check what was going on. We drove around for almost an hour before I had to reach back out to see what was going on. Joe said she was gone and apologized for the delay, but didn't apologize for her being rude. The house is very clean and updated on the inside and just enough room for the 4 of us. The backyard could use a little work. It is very conveniently located, with short drives to several beaches, although it is situated right on a busy street - so the traffic noise was high. The house was clean and stocked with what we needed. I have chronic back pain and the beds were comfortable and we all slept really well. The location of the property was nice and convenient, we were able to get to the state park, Grand Haven and Muskegon all in under 20ish minutes. There is a variety of things to do in the area, plenty of restaurants, and the house seems like it's in a pretty safe neighborhood. Overall we absolutely loved the house and area.
