"Warm, friendly, and very helpful staff, a modern hotel with clean, comfortable rooms, and in a great, central location. The hotel is easy walking distance from many sites you'll want to see, and also has easy access to public transportation. Highly recommended for a stay in Bern."

"This was a great hotel for getting to and from the train station as well as the main tourist sights. 2 days a week there is a farmer’s market right outside the hotel. There is a lot of morning traffic and noise, so if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to use the earplugs they provide. It is airconditioned but is not turned on until May. It was cold outside, but the room was a little stuffy for me, so we opened the window. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, so can’t speak to that."

"We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Murten with our family. We really appreciated the convenient location, close to the lake and the village. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is large and comfortable, although it could use some update in the furniture. Also tv was not working during our stay. The restaurant is good and has a large choice, but unfortunately it was closed both Sunday and Monday. All in all, we recommend this property and we thank the staff for welcoming us!"
