This place is a TOTAL DUMP! The reviews were 50/50 so we thought for overnight it would be ok. IT WASN’T! The campground is disgusting and not worth any amount of anything. The bathroom had chairs sitting around the shower (not sure what that’s all about?) The cabin itself is a nightmare. The front steps are broken the bedding has pee stains. We CANNOT BELIEVE VRBO lists this place. DOES NOT SAY MUCH FOR VRBO and their listings. Think twice or be sure and check out the properties! ##### De T. The bed was clean, but had one of those plastic covers that make the bed REALLY hot when sleeping. Shower house was really rough. The permanent campers on the property have seen way better days. I don't get grossed out easily, too many years at scout camp, but the showers were so bad we went to the campground at the state park where the kids were tent camping and showered there. I was hesitant to stay here because of the reviews. As a woman in her 40's who travels alone, I like to be cautious. Ultimately though, my sole purpose for going to Murfreesboro was to spend a few days digging in the park. This site is right down the road and the price was right.Although dated, the cabin was clean. The bathroom was also dated, but also very clean. As far as other complaints in reviews about mold, Arkansas gets very hot and humid. Fighting mold is always going to be an ongoing battle in a campground setting there. Yes, there are people who live there in trailers. Yes, there are some older cars there. The residents all seemed very nice though. There were a few dogs that barked from time to time. But it wasn't excessive.If you're looking for luxury accomodations, expecting the atmosphere of a hotel, or searching for Instagram perfection, this isn't for you. If you're looking for a place to stay so you can spend time in the park and doing other outdoors things, this is perfect for you. ##### Jess B. The other reviews, people were mentioning how it smelled like mildew in the cabin, but it's not the cabin that stinks, it's the air conditioner. While we were there, it was cool at night, so we didn't need the air conditioner, i also brought a small fan. You will also need a power strip with extra plug-ins, probably wouldn't hurt to bring a broom. showers were a little moldy in some areas, but I packed some bleach cleaner, sprayed it and the floor. I still wore flip flops in the shower. It made the whole bathroom smell better. Idk, I didn't think it was that bad. When you pull up, it's like a junk yard full of run down campers, tarps, trash, and a murky puddle that may have been a water feature at one point. The cabins were run down with holes in the floor, cracks around door, taped electric wires, flies all around the place (can't necessarily be helped but in March, sort of speaks to the cleanliness of the place). The bathrooms were so filthy we wouldn't use them. We left. First impression of restroom was being smacked in the face with heat and an overwhelming smell of mildew. I chose to drive to a truck stop to shower, there was no way i was using the one onsite. The cabin ac was off on a 90°+ day so it was very hot inside. The floor was detached from the wall of the cabin and clear box tap was used to "seal" cracks. The bed was SUPER squishy so if you like a firm bed at all then look elsewhere. We will not be returning to this property. ##### Tracy G. The only thing was the AC unit needed to be a little larger as it was hot but the property cooled down at night ##### adam v. We never were contacted or approached by anyone who managed the place. The grounds, especially the center pond area, needed mowing bad! Overall for the price it was perfectly fine. ##### Jennifer G.
