I was very disappointed in my recent trip to Ragamaya Resort and Spa. The hotel and staff were very nice, but I feel incredibly mislead by the listing on Hotels.com. We decided to visit the resort for two days of relaxation at the spa. We weren't told until we arrived that the spa wasn't open. Had we known this we would not have booked to stay here. The hotel is in a very remote location. I think it should have been made clearer when booking, as it took over 4 hours to reach the hotel from Kochi costing us £50. Due to the remote location guests are restricted to dining at the restaurant buffet. Again, I believe this should have been clearer in the hotel description. Finally, despite it saying in the description that alcohol isn't available on the first of the month, in fact, alcohol isn't served at all. The Hotels.com description was incorrect and had we known this we would not have booked to stay here. Due to the above problems we ended up leaving the resort a day early so as not to waste precious time on our holiday. I'm really disappointed in our experience and would like to be refunded the full amount of our stay.
