Basic but clean budget accommodation in central Munich. The location is conveniently close to the main rail station but, like most cities, the area around the station is pretty down at heal. I would not feel very safe alone late at night in this neighbourhood. The only real problem with the hotel room was the heat. Although it was not especially hot in Munich during my August stay, the room was stifling. Windows cannot be fully opened, there is no aircon and not even a fan provided. Sleeping was therefore very difficult and this was compounded by a neighbourhood cat which yowled all and every night of my stay. Not the fault of the hotel, but indicative, I think of the sort of area in which it is located. Munich hotels are expensive but if you can afford to, find somewhere more upmarket.
