Really enjoyed my two-night stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly from the moment I checked in. As a tourist I received helpful information when I needed it from knowledgeable staff. Loved the breakfast in the restaurant. My room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Also loved the option to have dinner in the Flemings Restuarant that was cozy, friendly, delicious and right nearby! The was a world cup soccer game on and everyone was very enjoying it and the comradery in the dining area. Very fun for a solo traveler.

Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable - shower worked really well. Hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was good as you can order coffee and eggs and they had other foods out buffet style. Location is good for using the metro as the train station is across the street.

On principle would not stay or recommend the hotel
Ok let’s start with the good stuff. The hotel is very well located for Munich main station. (Literally across the road) and right on the edge of the city with trams right outside the door. The hotel is very clean and very well appointed with nice quite comfortable rooms. Breakfast was included in my booking and is well worth it. I’d recommend staying g here but personally I would not, so now for the not so good. I’d booked via Hotels.com and as part of my “loyalty level” breakfast is included free of charge as are room upgrades if available (great if it happens but not an expectation). So before arrival I’d received an email asking me if I wanted to upgrade my room at an additional charge of €30 for the 2 nights. My assumption being it’s a standard email. On arrival it is a self checkin hotel and there were no staff around d so I could a member of staff who I didn’t know at the was actually the guest serves manger. I explained that I’d checked and also had an email about room upgrades and could I therefore have one? (At this point I have to say throughout my whole interaction with the guest services manager he was extremely polite and very professional so I have zero complaints with his attitude) his response was sorry I don’t understand so I showed him the hotels.com booking and that upgrades may be available and he said he knew nothing about it but I’d already got free breakfast. So I politely pointed out that it includes both these available so he checked the system and to

We've stayed at Flemings many times over the years. It is a clean, comfortable hotel and just across the street to the train station. The property is beginning to show its wear, and could use a little TLC/updates. The towels definitely could be refreshed. The room is very dark, which makes it difficult to put on makeup and get ready for the day. The open viewing shower next to the bed doesn't bother us, but some may find it awkward. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast selections plentiful. As it is so convenient to the train station, we probably would return if the price is right.

Great Hotel with Poor Staff Attitude
Sure thing!So, here's the scoop on this hotel: it's a solid choice overall, but just brace yourself for some not-so-friendly vibes from a few staff members, especially at the front desk. During my stay, most of the ladies there seemed to have forgotten what a smile was. They didn't even bother with basic greetings, which was a bit of a bummer. Luckily, there was this one dude who actually knew how to say "hello."Now, let's talk breakfast. Don't expect a warm welcome there either. When I asked for coffee, it was like pulling teeth to get a response, and when it finally arrived, it was served with a side of attitude. And it wasn't just me—other guests got the same treatment. The management seriously needs to step in and check out what's up with their team's vibe.But hey, it's not all bad news. The location is primo, right by the main station, and the rooms are clean as a whistle. Just a heads up though, if you're traveling with buddies, be ready for some potentially awkward bathroom situations—the glass walls don't leave much to the imagination. But hey, if you're flying solo like me, it's no biggie.
