At 2600 sq ft., our cabin has plenty of space for your next gathering. For your comfort, we offer central air conditioning for those warmer months! On the bottom level there is a great room (including the kitchen, the dining area, and the living room with a gas fireplace), a half bathroom, a laundry room, and the master bedroom w/ bathroom. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, all having their own attached bathrooms. (ALL bedding and linens, including the duvet covers and bath mats, are laundered between guests). Out front, there is a deck running the entire length of the house and a porch swing to sit on to enjoy the weather and watch the kids play. There is also a set of Cornhole boards, and a Hook 21 game for your enjoyment. Out back, there is a fence yard (not landscaped and still in a natural forest state...see pics) and a large uncovered deck to soak up some warm sunshine! Nearby, there is a park with a playground and volleyball court and there are plenty of trails for hiking, biking, and off-roading. Mormon Lake, or Lake Mary, are both in the area and are great places to have a picnic! You will definitely want to visit Munds Park's amazing local restaurants (all minutes from the cabin), including Agee’s Barbeque Market, SportsMunds Bar & Grill, NiMarco's Pizza, the Pinewood Diner, and Kota’s (an amazing coffee shop!). Since it is a small town, It is always best to check the days/hours of operation. It can vary depending on the season. Munds Park is a dog friendly community. However, there are some rules that must be followed if you choose to bring your dog(s). We allow a max of two small/medium sized dogs, no larger than 40 pounds each, with an additional Pet Fee of $100\. No other pets are permitted without Host approval. We will request details on your dogs when you request to book. HOUSE RULES FOR DOGS \- Dogs are not allowed on furniture or bedding. \- In consideration of the guests who are following after you, please make sure to clean up after your pets. \-The backyard is fenced, but the front yard is not. A leash must be used at all times when your pet is not in the fenced yard. While the backyard is fenced, it is still mostly in a natural forest state and there are many critters around that dig holes. We cannot guarantee that the fence is escape proof. Please watch your pet at all times. Also, please note that wild animals have been seen in Munds Park so please keep your pets safe. \- Please control barking so as not to disturb others. \*\*IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE\*\* \-Pictures will be taken before, and after, rental. We are trusting you with our family cabin. Please respect that and follow all house rules and policies. If something gets damaged, let us know asap and we will address it professionally and fairly. \-There is a minimum age requirement of 25 years old. At least one member of the party must be 25 years old or older. \-No parties, or events, are permitted. \-There is a Ring doorbell (with a camera and audio) installed at the front door, which is used to confirm arrivals and departures for our cleaning crew, and to provide additional security when the property is empty. There is also a ring camera, with audio, mounted on the house facing the back yard. They are not monitored during your stay and will only be reviewed if there is a need (neighbor complaints, weather, parking issues, etc). \-Occupancy: Booker must stay on the property. The occupancy limit is 12 guests, Infants are included in the occupancy limit (there are exceptions, so please contact host) \-There is parking for 5 to 6 vehicles. Please let us know if you have more than that, or if you will have trailers/side x sides, etc. We may be able to accommodate, but please contact host prior to booking for approval. \-While we supply a "baby" gate for use by the stairs, please note that it is only to be used at the bottom of the stairs. It is a tension gate, and if not installed properly, or if it is pushed/leaned on, it may not be secure. Again, this gate is for use at the bottom of the stairs only. \-This property has a strict NO DRUGS & NO SMOKING/VAPING, of any kind, policy. \-We have had elk, skunks, and javelina in our yard. At night, park residents night cameras have picked up bears and large cats. Munds Park is in the forest. Please act accordingly. \-There is a fire pit in the backyard for guest use. However, it is guest responsibility to check to make sure there are no fire restrictions (pinewoodfire.org). All outdoor fires must be in the designated fire pit in the back yard, even if you bring your own self contained fire pit. There is a hose on the side of the house, and a shovel in the mechanical closet (off of the laundry room). Please, keep these close at hand when burning, and never leave a fire unattended! Fireworks, firecrackers and all types of pyrotechnics are prohibited. \*Firewood is not provided\* \-In winter, make sure you are parked all the way in the driveway. DO NOT park in the culdesac. If a snow plow comes through, and your vehicle is in street, it may be buried by the plow, or possibly towed! \-VRBO'S map is not accurate. Nice masculine spaces and private baths made sure these guys were comfortable sharing a home with strangers. Plenty of room for them to gather and have conversations as well as retreat for some solitude after a long day of mental gymnastics. The home and the grounds were clean and safe and cozy. My husband and I along with our children and grandchildren stayed in the house. The house was perfect for us. There was an issue with the hot water, but the owners resolved the problem as quickly as they could. The front yard had a little playhouse and toys for our littles. The feature that attracted me to the house was the 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Wonderful!!! We would stay here again! ##### Karen B. The owners were very helpful. We had four couples. I can't list all of the amenities. There were so many. We had hand soap in every bathroom and in the kitchen. A bathroom for every bedroom plus a half bath beside the laundry room. These are only a few of the helpful amenities. Everything was clean. We LOVED this house. House well worth what we paid but felt due to what we paid, why did we have to strip the beds, take bed linens & towels down to laundry room. Empty all trash & take out to curb. It's one of the best VRBO rentals we've had. We were there for a music festival in Flagstaff. There were 8 adults and 5 kids. My family and I booked this beautiful cabin on our elopement weekend! We originally booked it because we were 13 total, and we loved the fact that every couple had their own room and own bathroom! They were super flexible when we got to town earlier and checked in earlier, super responsive and the property was beautiful. The 4 king rooms with ensuite baths are so cozy. The bed was so comfortable I asked where I could buy one and was promptly provided with the answer. We did have a couple minor issues during our 10 day stay. So minor they're not worth mentioning, other than to say how quick the response was to our issues. The owners were very helpful from the moment our stay began until our last day in the home. Munds park is a beautiful area of Arizona. We hope to return again to explore more of the area. When we do, if this home is available, we will stay here again. The 5 bedrooms and 5 and 1 half bathrooms make for a perfect stay with multiple generations. There was plenty of room to park our 5 cars with room for our Aunts to stop by for a short visit. The area was great for walking the neighborhood. There is so much to see and do in this area including the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Walnut Canyon etc etc. If you're a large group looking for a comfortable place to spread out, play games and share home cooked meals, you can stop looking. We were able to have large meals together in the kitchen space. We all appreciated having our own dedicated bathrooms. The only missed opportunity we could see is the backyard isn't landscaped and is overgrown. Would be a nice space for the fireplace however the overgrown yard deterred us from using it, This may have been the intent because the neighbors behind the cabin are extremely close. Beds were comfortable, fridge was large enough to hold all 4 families weekend food. Front porch was an enjoyable space. We did really miss having a dishwasher especially with such a large group.
