The HIGHEST ELEVATION CABIN to rent in Munds Park! Relax on one of the two decks of this impressive forest retreat while enjoying the warmth of a glowing fire pit. Get competitive with PS3 & board games galore! Or play Super Nintendo in the twinkling third story loft of this stylish wood cabin. This dog friendly cabin backs up to the forest with a fenced in yard, ensuring peaceful evening drinks with the pups, games, BBQ and s'mores on the deck. Holiday decor from Thanksgiving until New Years! The space This unique cabin offers an incredible place for families or groups of friends looking to getaway to the mountains. Close to skiing in Flagstaff secluded by being backed up to the forest, you get the best of both worlds. The first floor offers: \- Full kitchen with complete cooking amenities \- Dining area \- Incredibly cozy living area with pellet stove, large TV, elevated sound, gaming system, and blankets galore. \- Trunk with movies, video games, board games, puzzles and bins with children’s toys. \- Master bedroom with walk-in closet \- Stacked washer and dryer \- En-suite bathroom \- Fully enclosed front deck with full dining table, and table fire pit feature (great for pups!) \- Fully gated back yard with deck including BBQ, gas fire pit, lounging couches & chairs, corn hole and horseshoes (also awesome for pups!) A short flight of stairs takes you to the second floor where you have a spacious dedicated work space looking out the window to the trees and down to the main living area as well as the second bedroom and bathroom. A rollaway cot is also included in the second bedroom. The magic of the loft is only a ladder climb away. Welcomed by twinkle lights, the loft has bean bags and a Nintendo gaming center before entering the sleeping area with two Twin XL beds large enough for adults to rest in. Other things to note Munds Park is a unique town like no other. With only a handful of charming restaurants and bars to chose from, you will have a truly unique time here. Please note that the closest grocery store is in Flagstaff. It is recommended that you bring groceries as the restaurants are seasonal and not open every day. \*We do not guarantee the working use of the pellet stove, but do guarantee central heat in the winter months. The pellet stove has a learning curve and can be temperamental. Since we are not able to be there to troubleshoot we do not guarantee that it will be available to use during your stay. \*\*A/C includes 3 window units that are installed from mid-late May until early September, or as the weather permits. \*DISCLAIMER: The stairs in the cabin are steep. The low part of the back deck does not have a railing surrounding it. The showers are tub bases that may be slippery when wet (as are all surfaces). Snow & rain can make all surfaces outdoor & potentially indoor slippery. I doubt there will be enough space for me to say all the good things about this property that should be said. The hosts have spared no expense to make this cabin absolutely beautiful, completely comfortable, and easy to use. The kitchen is totally furnished - all you need are some groceries (and they arrange for you to have a coupon for Instacart if you want!) There are games, and videos, and so many movies on CD, ....even a electronic game upstairs.....you'd need to simply move in for a year or so to take advantage of it all. FOUR TVs. (Bring your streaming service passwords.) WiFi and a workspace for those of us who cannot, even though we should, let work go on without us. The beds - OMG, the beds - well, to say the least, I was ready to simply stay.in.bed. for the rest of our visit as those beds were so incredibly comfortable. (Darn but that my friend wanted to, you know, go on the tours we had booked. And she called ME the "killjoy.") There was a washer and dryer which was great because that made for less packing AND clean clothes to take home. (Bring a few laundry pods.) Shainia and Dan, the hosts, tolerated my first-time-VRBO idiocy with courtesy and responsiveness. Great hosts. Can't find enough superlatives for them. They didn't charge us a cleaning fee, which was one reason we booked their lovely cabin, and it was SO clean I wanted to make sure we left it as close to the pristine state it was in when we arrived.
