Beautiful rural setting close to town

Posted 21-May-2017
Pros: The staff & location
Cons: A freshen up
Location: Wineries, cheese tasting & honey tasting!
Fantastic experience! Beautiful motel set in picturesque landscape while still being close enough to the historical town of Mudgee. Close to wineries & other attractions. Restaurant was sublime & staff were extremely friendly & accommodating!

Friendly staff but not worth $300 a night

Posted 3-May-2017
Pros: The receptionist was very helpful & was very grateful they had a washing machine etc you could use.
Cons: Maybe more family rooms so every family member has a good bed & so you are not getting charged for having a family of 5. Modernize the rooms etc.
Location: The Location was great as we were playing sport at Glen Willow Sporting Ground.
On arrival the receptionist was so lovely & helpful. Our room was very old & no way worth $300 a night. The shower facilities are very outdated & the kids could not work out how to get the shower going. Beds were okay but with only a single bed & queen size bed & a fold out sofa bed this room was definitely not worth $300 a night.

Pros: Plenty of room to move. Quiet and peaceful.
Cons: Having to view the television from either the bed or a straight backed chair I found rather difficult.
Location: Close to the main town centre and wineries.
I loved my stay at Parklands Resort Mudgee. Lovely and quiet beautiful gardens and views from my window area. Parking was very easy. Nothing a trouble for the staff.I was very comfortable.I will stay there again when next I visit Mudgee.

Roomy and quiet.

Posted 28-Apr-2017
Pros: Location, large room size, beautiful grounds and facilities.
Cons: Bathroom was dated and in need of a refurb.
Location: Perfect. Quiet, being on the edge of town, but only a minute to pubs and town centre.
Great location, only a minute to the town pubs and restaurants. Room was large with all services and well appointed.

Traveling Back from visiting Dubbo Zoo

Posted 26-Apr-2017
Pros: facilities and surrounds, we also especially liked the welcoming staff from reception and room service.
Cons: The hotel appears to be undergoing some repairs, only obvious from the car park and the builders equipment. not intruding on our visit
Location: My wife and I enjoyed the location as most wineries are near by, with bike hire and other activities like the drip walk makes a family adventure.
On our way back from visiting Dubbo Zoo we were only looking at ease of accommodation and was pleasantly surprised. The Venue was good and central and with two small children they loved the hotel accommodation and the swimming pool. The Staff also directed us to visit a walk to the Drip (sounds odd, but the drive and walk were amazing.

Insect Infestation

Posted 25-Apr-2017
This is essentially a motel. It's rooms are dated, old carpet, bathroom in desperate need of renovation. There was hair in the shower plug, mould on the silicone joining the bathtub to the tiles, and after leaving the bathroom window open (which had a flyscreen) to allow for ventilation, we returned to a bathroom with hundreds, if not thousands of tiny insects. A disappointing and overpriced experience at $279 for a night. Definitely never returning.

Lovely hotel in beautiful setting.

Posted 21-Apr-2017
Pros: Beautiful setting.
Cons: A bin in the room, rather than just the bathroom. Brown bread , not just white for breakfast.
Location: Just out of the town, walkable but we took the car.
Check in was easy, we were upgraded to a fantastic room that we later found out was the honeymoon suite. I did look in some other rooms and they were really nice too.

weekend with friends

Posted 26-Mar-2017
Cons: food and wine overpriced for quality
Nice weekend marred by party into the next morning on wide verandahs outside rooms. Reception closes at 9pm so at 1pm I had to tell the revellers to quieten down.
