"The house is beautiful, great layout with plenty of space for a large group. The game room is great, we stayed busy all weekend. The beds were comfortable, one strange request was for us to bring our own pillows. There were some areas that could have been cleaned better, there were a few broken plug covers that seemed like a hazard. The video game in the basement didn’t have a plug at all so we couldn’t play. The host is very attentive to messages, this was our second time in this location. The cost was similar to other homes of this size that we have stayed at. Overall the weekend was fun. "

"Cabin is meant for warmer weather. When we were there the lake was frozen and too cold to do much outdoor activity. Cabin overall is nice and cozy."

"First off there are signs everywhere stating that you will be charged a $250 cleaning fee if your room smells like smoke. The whole hotel smells like stale smoke. Especially in the rooms. We literally were watched and listened too. Had our lock on the keyed door changed while we were out at a funeral. Came back to a lock that our key no longer fit in. And neither did the master key. The attendant had to call the owner which told him where to find a key to get us into our room. We were pissed. They refunded our money and we left. Luckily we were able to go down the road to a way better hotel! Stay at the Mio Motel!! It's way better. Cleaner, friendlier, and they beds are super comfy. "

"Awesome place. You're in a depression with most neighbors above you so very nice. The creek is nice. The only bad part was the whole area was ice due to the storms. We actually got stuck trying they up the hill. Oweners had us out in an hr. Very nice.Would be an awesome place to stay in good weather. Will try again in the summer."

"The house was pleasant and very clean. We had great communication prior to arriving and the process to get checked in was very flexible/straightforward. We went for a weekend away from kiddos, but could easily see us booking here in the future for a trip with the entire family. The setting was beautiful and the hot tub was so relaxing each evening. Thank you, Gordon for providing a perfect place for our weekend getaway! "
