A great place for 5 friends to reunite, catch up, and relax. Market, restaurants, hiking trails, Timberline were easy to get to. Easy communication with the host. Great location, quiet - enjoyed our stay very much!
Great stay near the mountain and multiple hiking trails. Place was great and we decided to take a day off and just relax in the backyard. Nice and peaceful at night, and we kept the window open in the master bedroom so we could hear the sound of the water.
Our stay was just we wanted and place was great for family gathering.
This property is just what the listing states. And all of our expectations and needs.
The family time in their lovely hot tub was a wonderful addition to our memory making weekend
Thank you to the host of this property.
Great house, great communication, and truly felt welcome into their home.
Grateful for the wonderful memories!!
Everything was lovely, comfortable and better than described. Lots of room for our family of 6! Many thoughtful touches such as lots of cozy throws and extra towels, a box of little kids toys, a selection of middle grade books, board games and chess. Near several restaurants and a great location for hiking the Columbia gorge waterfalls and riding mt hood. 100% we would recommend and stay there again! Thank you Karen!
My wife and I were immediately impressed from the moment we entered the property. We went through the house manual and were pleased to see that rather than an extensive chore list and repeated overbearing warnings it was useful information to properly use and keep safe the beautiful home.
Speaking of the property it was the cleanest my wife and I had ever stayed in. Everything from the bedrooms to the kitchen, every nook and cranny was spotless and wonderfully maintained. The star of the cleanliness though which many properties fall short on is the hot tub. The hot tub here was fantastic. Water was clear and treated, no slimy residue to be found anywhere.
The amenities inside the home are more than sufficient with a well equipped kitchen for cooking meals of any kind. The pellet stove kept the house nice and toasty even while snow fell outside. Bedroom was cozy and the pressure in the showers was top notch.
The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful with plenty of things to do and a very well stocked grocery store just down the street. I truly can’t recommend this home enough if you are looking for a place to getaway for the weekend or if you need a cozy, well stocked and equipped base camp for some adventures on the mountain.
Thank you Karen for having us in your wonderful home.
Ski trip with friends, we enjoyed the space in the garage for the skis, the large hot tub, and the spacious kitchen and living room. Pellet stove kept the family room toasty. Water pressure was powerful, and the grill was handy.
House was as nice as pictures showed. Very clean and in great location. Easy to find and get to. Kitchen was well appointed and bedrooms had plenty of blankets and pillows. Pellet stove heated the house quickly and nicely. We couldnt figure out the back sliding door for easier access to the bbq but that may have been user error. Overall, a lovely home with nice amenities.
We booked a last minute get away for me and my wife and were lucky enough to find this wonderful home. Karen, our host took care of all the little details to turn this place into a peaceful getaway. Everything from kitchenware, bbq utensils and many essential items were adequately stocked and well kept including wine glasses! We were pleasantly surprised how peaceful the back yard setting was along with the crisp clean air amongst the trees. Even rain didn't let us down since we had covered seating area and covered hot tub to enjoy with our wine. For the first time we both wished it could have rained a little more to enjoy the coziness of the home. Minutes away from the Ski bowl and fun day hikes we Highly recommend this home for those looking to destress from the city life and enjoy the serene northwest surroundings.
If all Hosts were as attentive & focused on detail as these Hosts, many more travelers would choose VRBO's rather than hotels. Communication was priority from the time of booking to our last day at check out. The unit was extremely clean & well appointed. Instructions for operating the amenities were detailed & thorough. The hot tub was very well maintained & close proximity to the back door, which I loved. Another plus was the location of the unit to gain access to the shuttle to ski Bowl & Timberline ski areas! My sons & I were thrilled with our choice of accommodations & invite guests to choose this VRBO for their next journey to Mt Hood.
Karen was amazing at communicating with me through out our stay. The home was cute and clean and close to timberline lodge! Great location! Thanks Karen I’d recommend staying here.
The house was clean, quiet and a great place to stay while attending a family wedding. The beds were comfortable. The owner was very accommodating and communicated well. We will be back.
