This is an utterly amazing destination, a genuine wish we could stay forever holiday destination.
It is truly a private, luxury, in-middle-of-nowhere, walk freely amongst the animals kind of a place just 30 minutes from civilization. You couldn’t ask for more and at a fraction of what you think all this would cost.

The Chef’s wonderful dishes is a main reason for coming back and braving the gravel road to get here.

A truly hidden gem, should be the worst kept secret
Amazing hospitality and stay. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the team treated us so well. The property is taken care of very well with no attention to detail spared. If you’re looking for an eco friendly private reserve where you can detach and unwind this is it.

I stayed here for a great romantic getaway with my girlfriend , We had an amazing time the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. The linen was clean and the place was spotless. The apartment was serviced daily , and the self catering facilities were more than sufficient . There was good wifi which was needed as MTN and Telkom signal was spotty .

Dear Chandresh, sorry for only responding to your feedback now, but thank you for taking the time to leave us with a review, and we are delighted that you enjoyed your time with us. Unfortunately as we are in the mountains our cell phone reception can be shaky, but we hope it gave you the opportunity to 'switch off' fro the outside world for a short while!
We hope to see you again soon,
Kind regards, Jack & The Tomjachu Team
We stayed at Tomjachu for a couple of nights during a 10 day tour of SA. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and did everything to make our relaxing visit perfect. The cottage we stayed at was beautiful, with a breathtaking view of the mountains. We enjoyed eating at the Homestead as well as grilling our on food on a typical South African braai on our patio. We hiked around the property and overall had a wonderful, relaxing time enjoying the outdoors at Tomjachu.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write us a review - we are delighted that you enjoyed your time with us at Tomjachu, and hope to see you again in the future. From the Tomjachu Team
We got to Tomjachu accidentally on a last minute search for a one night stay on a way from Kruger National Park. And we found a real jewel away in the mountains. The property is managed by Mr. Jack at highest standards competing with top hotels we've stayed. Everything is very well considered - a welcome email with throughout description of amenities, hiking ant MTB tracks; tree tags around the place; simple but efficient water saving tools in bathroom (you should see it yourselves); fireplace in a room… and a lot else to list. They have several cosy cottage with braai and swimming pools, each with beautiful views (we lived in the foremost and most private one called Bush Lodge. So sad we had to leave this place so quickly - I would like to return here for a weak for a hideaway chill.
Tomjachu is paradise away just away from Nelspruit
Tomjachu is a great place just outside Nelspruit. The place is absolutely well kept. The view is beautiful and very nice place to reconnect with family. There is no television so all the time is for you with your family. The accommodation is really relaxing and seems a very good way to reconnect with yourself.
*Note: Lodge staff were incredible, the meals were great, and the view is amazing. I would highly recommend this place for a retreat and lodge experience.
It should be noted this Lodge is down a 6-8 Kilometer dirt road that can feel rough in the dark. We did not have a 4x4 and faired okay but the hotel should state this fact in their description.
Come here for rest and the beauty but not for proximity to Nelspruit due to dirt road.
We stayed at the Bush Cottage as a family, amazing outlook views and a game drive at sunset was superlative. The mattress in the main bedroom was a bit on the hard side and maybe some new appliances in the kitchen could complement the elegant rustic look of the cottage. We had a braai fire arranged for us, the service is impeccable.
Lovely staffs, peaceful and quiet place, amazing foods...I had an wonderful stay.
