The room itself was a good size and comfortable and it was convenient that meals were available on site. However our room had quite a strong smell of bleach which seemed to be emanating from the linen (which I found unpleasant), and the bathroom shower cubicle had discoloured wall tiles and mouldy grout lines.

Exceptional customer service and the dine in room service is just as exceptional . The room was well presented, clean and had everything to make our stay a comfortable place to enjoy the town and surroundings. The reception staff were friendly and really made us welcome.

Nice comfy stay

Friendly welcome with lots of local advice. Comfy bed and good amenities. Walking distance to local tavern for a meal. Quiet and great to sit outside the room with a cuppa.

Hotel well located back off main room, reception was friendly only had a couple issues, pathway lights always on and shining through while trying to sleep and basin plug wouldn’t work so couldn’t let water out.
