Sylamore Head to the Cottage at the Creek for an off-the-beaten-path getaway. Tucked in a meadow on South Sylamore Creek, the Cottage is a small cabin in Mountain View, AR tucked in a remote peaceful meadow- a perfect homebase for exploring the Ozarks. Amble across the meadow to the creek to cast your fishing line or to cool off in the clear water. Just 15 minutes to Town Square and 25 minutes to Blanchard Springs Caverns, you'll be within reach of all area attractions. But, you may find that you nev What we provide- \~linens and towels \~cookware and servingware \~kitchen basics \~soap and shampoo \~starter kit of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and garbage bags \~the coffeemaker is a standard drip machine, filters provided \~propane grill \~firewood- BYO kindling Please view all photos and read the listing fully. Other cabins share the meadow and are visible from this property. I'm available by call, text or email as needed between 9AM and 9PM. Cottage at the Creek is accessed by steep county-maintained gravel road. While most cars make it fine, motorcycles do not. Sorry, no campers, trailers, or ATV's of any kind allowed. Please be respectful of property boundaries, as marked. Walk, don't drive, to the creek. It is important to note that the Cottage is in a remote area and accessed by county maintained gravel road and narrow gravel driveway. The final approach to the cabin is a steep gravel hill. Although 4WD is helpful, it is not necessary. If you need tips for driving on gravel roads and accessing the steep gravel hill, we are here to help. Rental Rules \~Primary guest must be age 25 or older \~Check in is 4:00 PM-10PM / Check out is 11:00 AM \~No Smoking in or near the Cabin \~Dogs are allowed, with $50 Pet Fee (2 dogs max, house rules apply) \~No loud noise or parties \~Absolutely no UTV's, ATV’s, Trailers, or Campers allowed \~Number of guests cannot exceed the maximum occupancy as stated in the listing \~It should be noted that our properties are located in a rural and, in some cases, remote area of the Ozarks, where you will find many different forms of wildlife. Raccoons, deer, mice, snakes, eagles, wild hogs, black bear, skunks, and opossums are common, and may be a nuisance at certain times of the year. Other pests such as ants, wasps, mosquitos, spiders, bees, flies, and gnats also live nearby. Each property has a regular/quarterly pest control service, but we cannot guarantee against Guests seeing any animals or pests during their stay and no refunds will be made for this. Pet Rules: \*Please clean up after your dog. \*Please do not allow your dog to bark excessively or to roam onto neighboring properties. Many of our homes are located near residential neighborhoods, and we must respect the comfort and privacy of those residents. Complaints may lead to eviction without refund. \*Please do not allow dogs on furniture or beds. It is also helpful to bring something (bed, blanket, etc.) on which you know your pet will be comfortable sleeping. It was clean except for the little red bugs that were everywhere. Not due to owner, just that time of year for those invasive bugs. Not harmful at all. The only thing that I think needs to be mentioned, and it might be and I missed it is the steep downhill gravel road to get to the cabin. My friend came in a cadillac car and we were a little concerned about that. If it had rained a lot or even snowed, not sure about the process of getting in and out with that hill. I had a HONDA CRV and I was concerned. Other than that place was wonderful. Went in the middle of the week and it was so tranquil . We only left to go to town just to have lunch. Saw much needed wildlife and would love to go back in the summer and put my feet in the Sylamore Creek. Hostess was prompt at answering a question I had and very pleasant. BTW those little red bugs were mainly outside, they looked like ladybugs but weren't. We get them at home this time of year also, so was use to them. ##### joellen w. Right near the access was shallow enough for her to be able to play without having to worry about her getting in over her head but just a short distance to the right you could fish!
