"I had high expectations for The Read House and it delivered for sure! The whole experience was amazing. The lobby is beautiful with fresh flowers and beautiful decor. There is so much to explore on the first floor from their restaurant on site to the beautiful bar to billiards room. Our room was impeccable. The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness of the room. Not only did it smell amazing, it was spotless. The bathroom was huge and CLEAN! Same thing for the bedroom. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say. If you’re thinking of booking a room just do it. I can say with confidence you’ll be glad you did! "

"Centrally located between Charming St. Elmo and trendy Southside. Comfortable bedding, quiet, super clean. Although not in a walkable area, St. Elmo and Southside are mere minutes away by car. There’s a brand new Food City grocery 0.8mi away if groceries in the mini-fridge are your thing. Super wonderful staff, easy check-in process."

"Super clean room and lobby! Very updated hotel and rooms!! Admit associate super sweet, especially when I locked both keys in room. 1 bedside lamp flicked off and on when turned on. Toilet seat didn't fit toilet.. uncomfortable. Bed was comfy, clean. Breakfast sausage patty and scrambled eggs weren't warm...they just opened and I was first in line. Coffee was good and HOT."
