We had never been to Charleston before. It was a fun trip. Mt. Pleasant was a great place to be. Less than a 5 minute drive to restaurants, shops, grocery store...yet the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Many families travel in golf carts. It was really cool. Less than 10 mintues to Sullivan's Island Beach, which was not crowded. Just a few more minutes and you can be on the Isle of Palms beach, where there is more going on. We had a great time on Sullivan's Island. Family friendly vibe. This was the highlight of the trip. Downtown Charleston and C of C were ten minutes away, as well. So, Mt. Pleasant is ideal if staying in Charleston. Uber would be really easy to use here. We rented an extra car to get around and didn't need it. The house itself is clean, nicely decorated and has 5 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. All of the furnishings are high quality. It is on a quiet cul-de-sac with no traffic noise. Underneath the home is a huge, open air play area with a pool table, ping pong and tiki bar. Outside is a shaded brick patio underneath a huge second story deck with many seating areas. This home (by far) exceeded all expectations. Extremely clean, well maintained and huge amount of amenities. We can’t wait to come back and rent it again. It was actually better than what we had hoped for. We love spending time together in the evenings, so the open living room and dining room areas were wonderful for us. The house was so clean and the beds were comfortable. Several of our members loved the pool and ping-pong tables, but since they were not in the A/C area, it was a little hot while using them. There are board games, beach chairs, beach toys, and beach towels. Our young adult and teen children brought their gaming controllers and hooked up a Nintendo switch to the family room screen. The location is perfectly central to the beach and to downtown Charleston. We enjoyed both. There’s a Publix 3min away and a Walmart 10min away which I used to order groceries online and picked-up on Sunday evening after we arrived. Krista responded to my questions quickly and even dropped by to bring us a new ping-pong net that had broken prior to our arrival. I whole-heartedly recommend Krista’s home. ##### Terisa R. Our main priority was having 5 king beds-one for each couple but this house exceeded our expectations! The house is super clean, beautiful, and fully stocked! Checking in and out was the easiest VRBO experience we've had. The location of this house is perfect-in Mt. Pleasant so easy drive to the beach and downtown Charleston and 2 mins from Shem Creek!
