Just a short walk from the serene shores of Lake Dora, you'll be able to enjoy the tranquility of the lakeside setting. Venture out to explore the antique shops and boutiques of Renninger's Antique Center, just a 5-minute drive away, or immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Rock Springs Run State Reserve. Back at the property, you'll find all the comforts of home, including a fully stocked kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher, perfect for preparing delicious meals. Enjoy your meals at the dining table, or relax in the cozy living room and catch a movie on the smart TV with satellite/cable channels. Stay connected with the high-speed WiFi, and take care of your laundry with the in-unit washer and dryer. The yard features a privacy fence along the sides and back; however, it isn’t fully enclosed. Unwind in the comfortable bedrooms, and wake up refreshed to explore the outdoor play area. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an adventure-filled getaway, this vacation home has everything you need for an unforgettable stay in Mount Dora. This is located within the historic district of Mount Dora and next door to City Hall. There are strict city ordinances against the parking of trailers, boats, RVs, etc. Only passenger vehicles are allowed on property - with a max of 2\. Quiet time is from 10pm - 7am. There is a security camera at the front of the home. EARLY CHECK-INS are not guaranteed, but will be accommodated based on availability. LATE CHECKOUTS must be approved by us. If you stay past your 11am check out time without approval, you will automatically be charged for the next night’s stay, at the listing’s full price. PACKAGES We do not allow guests to order mail/packages to this location for privacy reasons. MAINTENANCE There is a chance a previous guest has damaged something minor and we were unable to fix it before check in. We ask that all our guests are patient and understanding in regard to this. Examples: blinds, curtains, and lightbulbs fall under the “non-emergency” maintenance category and won’t be completed until we’ve addressed any emergency requests around the property first. PETS We allow dogs under 20 pounds. There is a $100 fee, per dog. Message us for further rules regarding dogs. PARKING We allow a max of two vehicles to park in front of the unit. Do not park on the grass. In front of the home is a bike lane, there is no road parking available. No Recreation Vehicles (RVs), trailers, or boats are allowed. PARTIES We enforces a strict no-parties/noise violation policy. If you throw a party, trash the space, damage the unit, disrespect the property, or have a gathering with extra guests that are not reported in your initial booking, you are breaking the rules and will be fined $500\. CLEANING Our cleaning fee is based on a courteous guest (e.g. someone who cleans up after themselves, puts dishes in the dishwasher, towels in the washer, leaves the place as they found it, etc.). This is NOT a hotel. If the housekeeping crew discovers an unreasonable mess post-checkout, we will charge an additional fee of $100\. EXTRA TOWELS/LINENS Please understand and accept that our housekeeping crew needs to cover a great number of units per day and within a short window of time. To accommodate the busy schedules, they often need to leave the CLEAN towels drying in the dryer as they move on. If you do not see enough towels/linens for you when you arrive, please check the dryer. If you’re looking for a cozy home within two blocks of downtown, this home hits all the marks! Everything is clean, up to date, and just downright beautiful. It was child-friendly with board games and a sitting area where we could bundle up in a blanket to watch morning cartoons. Most of all, the hosts were incredible. We had a welcome gift and card upon arrival, and check-in/out was seamless. They were very responsive and even took the time to check on us during our stay (which was so sweet!). The degree of hospitality coupled with the beautiful home in close proximity to everything made the stay memorable and wonderful! ##### Tina C. This was my first time staying at a VRBO and I couldn't be more pleased! This was the most lovely place to stay in the heart of downtown Mount Dora. It was decorated so beautifully and really felt like a special treat! Speaking of treat, the host left us the yummiest gift box of local bakery items. She was a 10/10 as far as hosts go!
