There is a possibility of noise from traffic to be heard in the unit, but should not make noise in the bedroom. \-Firewood is NOT provided. The house comfortably accommodated 9 of us (5 teens & 4 mothers) for a weekend basketball tournament on MDI. The photos represented the property perfectly! The price to stay 2 nights was fair and commensurate with the quality of the property! The mattresses were surprisingly comfortable! We stayed in MDI for the marathon last weekend and the route went right past the house. We were able to see my wife along the route, which was so much fun for our kids! Our group included three generations, and all had plenty of comfortable space to spread out. Some special features included two dishwasher drawers, two sets of washer/dryers, and two living areas. The upstairs has a fun sleeping porch feel and includes a full bathroom, and would be perfect for multiple children or a group of girlfriends. The kitchen was well appointed and has a nice island with barstools. We had three deer that visited us in the evenings as well! This was a perfect spot for our first visit to Acadia, and we would not hesitate to stay here again! ##### Debbie G.
