The cabin is very clean, comfortable, and give a relaxing home feeling. It has mix of privacy, and at the sametime its open and not conjested. During the day the sun warms and lights the cabin just right inside and out. If you close the blinds the cabin feels like movie night during the day. The hot tub on the deck, and the lights inside & out gives off the ultimate vide. This makes you not want to leave the cabin. Leah is a GREAT host and has the cabin setup to the point. Shebeven left a bottle of local wine, that set the stay.You are not disturbed, and the pictures of it. Really dont do this cabin any justice. It is on a gravel road off 33 but very close to Moulton downtown. It is a new cabin with unique setup with washer that dries , a convection oven with a cooktop . A lot packed into a small space. Concrete floor with rugs that might not be such a great idea with dogs. I rolled them all up before bringing in the dogs(service dog training). Lots of hiking nearby in Bankhead Forest and Sipsey River area. We didn't get to enjoy much outside as the heat and humidity was over 100 but it would be great in the fall. You are close to lots of hiking. The cabin has everything you will need for a lovely stay. A word of advice: bring in all your groceries! It’s a ways away from the nearest store. And once you’re there you won’t want to leave anyway. Positives I wasn’t expecting: strong WiFi; really good water pressure; hot tub and fire pit; well thought out kitchen essentials. I usually tent camp while hiking in the area, but wanted a place for the cold & rainy months. My dogs travel with me & finding this gem that is pet friendly made me so HAPPY! It is absolutely perfect in every way! You are right in the middle of the forest & there are so many awesome trails within 20 minutes- that’s initially what got me there. With rainy days in the forecast I began to research the area more. You are 20 minutes from Decatur, just less than an hour from Huntsville & Jasper & there are SO MANY quaint small towns nearby. Lots of history, art, museums, architecture, shopping & places to buy local goods! The cabin was super clean! Leah, the host is hands down the best! She really went out of her way to ensure everything is top notch, super responsive and offered so much helpful information. The cabin is incredibly well stocked & has so many extra amenities. The owners love this place & it truly shows throughout each room with the meaningful details. The property & grounds are very well kept and groomed. Awesome hot shower with great water pressure, comfy bed and super soft sheets & blankets! It was a major decision each night on whether we wanted to enjoy the views around the fire pit or soak in the hot tub. Very quiet, peaceful & a great place to disconnect then reconnect. She puts her heart into hosting and you can tell. Her communication is impeccable. She is there if you need anything whether it be something at the cabin, suggestions or information of the area. The cabin is lovely, secluded and peaceful. The property is as described and more! We've never been to Alabama. We decided to go hiking in this area to unwind and center. It did not disappoint! It is absolutely beautiful here! Her property was located in a central spot to so many trails. Leah suggested the all trails app. Perfect! After hiking, the hot shower had excellent pressure. She has a hot tub and fire pit. I honestly cannot say enough about this property and host! We will definitely plan to come back. 10/10 ##### Elizabeth M.
