"We so enjoyed our stay at Jim's place. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and we enjoyed taking canoe and kayak rides on lake Wausau. Jim was an excellent host and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful spot. The views and convenient location cannot be beat! The home was tastefully decorated and there was plenty of space for us to enjoy a very relaxing stay. One of our favorite vacation rentals to date!"

"Has to be the most well-appointed rentals I’ve experienced with no small detail forgotten. A bit awkward with the one lower room w/ two doubles without a door. And the room upstairs has room for another bed, or larger than a twin to accommodate even more sleepers. But overall, a great property! We’ll be back because our short stay didn’t allow us to fully appreciate the outdoor space!"

"Four adults stayed for three nights while attending a convention in town. Plenty of room. Clean/neat common areas and very spacious clean bedrooms. Would have plenty of room for children as well with a large sitting room downstairs along with third bedroom/office workspace. Excellent communication with host. Always sent immediate responses to any questions."

"The house was amazing. Super clean and fully stocked with dishes and cookware. It was perfect for our group trip of adults and kids. Loved the arcade set up and really loved the architecture. A bit more separated seating areas would have been good. There is a great loft space that would work really well as another seating/gathering area if the right furniture was there. "This was my first VRBO rental...and because of this little house, I keep using VRBO for my travels. This house is on the small side. For 3 adults we found the size to be good for a couple of nights. As 3 chunky humans the bathroom door open was a little close to the sink, tight squeeze theough. If you are a larger person, be cautious of the smaller space in that room. We would stay at this house again!"

"Beautiful and spotless home in a convenient location. I was in town for work and my wife and kids were able to come along. The kids love the backyard and playhouse, and the yard is fully fenced so we feel safe letting them run around. They had a fun at the new Children's Museum. We walked over to a nearby restaurant for breakfast, which was clean, good food and value. Also, took a walk around the neighborhood and down to the park and boat landing. We will be back again!"

"Just a few minutes outside of Wausau, the house sits on a large, peaceful plot of land far enough away from everything, but not too far. The quiet spot was great for a fire outside at night and even had a strand of solar lights surrounding the fire pit which was a nice touch. The house had everything you could want and was in great condition. Again the s'mores package from the host was incredibly thoughtful, but they even had spices for cooking (which would be nice if others started doing as...

"We were in town for a family function and this home became the perfect gathering space for our small group who were staying around town. There is a lot of sleeping space and room to spread out for those who were staying at the house. The bunk room was a kiddo favorite. The outdoor space and play set were great for everyone to be outside and have something they could enjoy. The hosts were very responsive to questions or issues that arose. "This was a wonderful large house where we stayed while our grandsons enjoyed skiing at Granite Peak. It was fabulous to have the lake right there as we built campfires and had hotdogs and s’mores!! It made the trip even more special!"
