In winter, from the apartment, traverse to the drag lift and then ski over to the Pleney gondola. To get back, take the Retour de Nyon piste, this then brings you to a slope which takes you directly back to the apartments front door. In Spring, Summer and Autumn for mountain biking enthusiasts, Morzine is a must visit destination known for its incredible downhill mountain bike trails. The town offers ski lifts to avoid gruelling climbs with a network of well maintained trails and a cycling friendly community. Morzine also caters for mountain bikers of all skill levels. For the road cyclists the Tour de France passes the building and the local climbs offer legendary mountain passes with breathtaking alpine landscapes. After a hard days skiing, biking ,hiking or just walking, you can relax in the sun in the south facing garden whilst enjoying the mountain views with a glass of wine, cold beer or a gin and tonic. Although ideally suited to a family of four, the apartment will accommodate up to 4 adults and 4 children. There are 2 bedrooms, both with king size double beds and built in wardrobes. The second bedroom benefits from French windows with access to the garden. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all the mod-cons including an iPod dock, Amazon Echo and a dining table for up to 10 people, There is an integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and full size double oven and 4 ring hob. The spacious open plan lounge area has two comfortable king size sofa beds, coffee table, a large flat screen TV, freesat and DVD player. There is also a selection of board games, books and DVD’s. The cloakroom area has plenty of space for your boots and helmets and it’s nice and toasty so your outdoor gear will dry quickly. There is also a large ski locker just outside the front door and a large secure cave for cycle or ski storage. There are 2 bathrooms, one has a bath with a shower above, WC and sink and the other has a built in shower and WC. Other features of the apartment include: 2 allocated parking spaces, one is fully covered. There is an in-resort manager, who can help with any queries. Nous avons eu la surprise en arrivant de nous trouver face à un aspirateur plein et hors service trônant mi sur le canapé, mi sur la table de salon, apparemment, nous n'étions pas attendus. Lors de ma réservation je n'ai pas fait attention en réservant mais la télévision est uniquement en anglais et passe par freesat , donc pas de TNT et de français, en étant en France, cherchez l'erreur? ok c'est un manque d'attention de ma part lors de la réservation, . Je peut conclure ainsi : malgré ces 2 points négatifs (pour moi ) appartement clair, propre, agréable et bien situé, si vous voulez étendre la location peut être prévoir télé en français également, sinon réservez cet appartement à votre clientèle anglaise. Being on the ground floor was great and we enjoyed the grass area outside the front door for morning coffie's and lounging in the sun after a days riding. Its in a quiet area but close enough to walk to the centre and the lifts in a short time. If the snow allows, you can also ski back to the chalet. The chalet size was sufficient for 4 adults and the kitchen cupboards were well stocked with equipment. The frustrating things were the wi-fi. It was very weak if more than one person was using it so most of us ended up using data. Also, we were only given 1 and a half toilet rolls for 4 people for 5 days and there was no basic food items in the fridge. Because we arrived late at night we had to spend time the following morning looking for a shop so we could buy some milk, butter and bread. When you’re only skiing for 4 days you just want to hit the slopes asap, so this was frustrating. I would recommend this place but if the host would spend just a few euro’s on these basics plus improve the wi-fi I would give it an extra star. ##### Brian B. Séjour de 5 nuits en mars 2023
