"Extremely calm surroundings: we heard bird singing only with our windows opened. Very responsive host: we had a problem with our rental car and got an answer to our message right away. The breakfasts were great: bread, croissants, yaourt , butter, homemade jams, cheese from the area, cake, fruits as well as tea and coffee. the table was prettily set up. Lovely village well situated. All in all we would go back in a second! "

"Maison Sainte Barbe is a little haven of peace and loveliness, in an ancient building that has been sympathetically cared for. It was our final stop on a 2500 mile roadtrip before heading to Ouisteham, and I'd have been glad to stay longer. "It took us some time to find the property but staying at the Domaine was worthwhile the search. Upon our arrival at the reception, we were confused about which room we were supposed to get. "The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"We had an extremely relaxing four nights at the cabin and highly recommend Lake Settons. The cabin was very close to the lake,it was peaceful and had everything we needed. Check in and check out was very easy. We would definitely stay again."
